[color=f49ac2]"Hmph"[/color] It looked like she had unwittingly touched a nerve, it wasn’t like Scypho had claimed that Iris had gone around eating the guests, nor did she imply that all monstrous beings went around eating people. She would have to take note of this reaction to her remark and keep it in mind for future interactions with Iris. Regardless, Scypho felt it would be best to let that discussion be for the time being with a slight frown glancing between Nukkelina and Nina as if to appeal to them. Allowing the others to continue the discussion at hand while she listened with mild disinterest until it was time to move out and head to the morning meet up with Daggernose Dan.

When the Maverick group finally arrived, Scypho made a quick note of everyone that had shown up  to account for how many were missing since the last time. Overhearing Daggernose Dan’s presentation as she finished her quick headcount once the last of the guests trickled in. It looked like Maverick currently had the most people remaining out of all the groups. Turning her attention towards the discussion that soon followed from Iris confronting Dan. Her eyes trailed over towards the food and the Gemini agent that was eyeing it up, her gaze lingering for a moment before moving on. She gave both Nina and Nukkelina a silent but stern look, having found evidence to support her earlier remark, she quietly moved up beside Iris.

Lifting a frilled sleeved hand as she casually gestured towards the prepared breakfast. [color=f49ac2]“Perhaps he is taking his time to fatten us all up”[/color] suggesting in a quiet whisper to Iris. He did keep insisting that they eat only the food he prepared for when they met up at the beach. Maybe it was all a ploy to ensure that they suited his dietary needs when the time came for him to devour them. Scypho knew that possibility was relatively remote and there was likely another more logical explanation for the disappearances, but after how Iris reacted to what she had suggested earlier she figured she might as well point out this fact.

Satisfied, she took a step back and gave her fellow Maverick’s a mildly displeased expression with partially hooded eyes when the beach balls started flying. Even more so when she had to reach up and bat one away before it made contact with her face. Beach games were fun and all, but now wasn’t the time for playing around as she had to catch another one before it hit her, tossing it aside. That was exactly what Daggernose Dan wanted them to do, and they had more important concerns at hand. Even with Gemini also questioning Dan, she doubted they would fare any better in getting the answers they sought. Plus the freelancers seemed more interested in playing games and having fun then getting to the bottom of the mystery. [color=f49ac2] “Even if Dan knows anything, he won't give anyone a satisfactory answer, it's best we come up with our own plan, Iris, Nina,  Lina….”[/color] shifting her gaze between the others as she addressed them.
