Tentative interest. Question, is there media you are wanting us to stick to, or avoid? Like video games, books, movies, anime, live action shows, plays, nonfiction works, etc.?
If you're talking these categories specifically, then I'd say that there shouldn't be any objection to such. The fun of something like this comes from creating a setting where characters of different artstyles and dimensions just casually coexist. The only thing I'll do double takes on in this regard is like, real real people, though fictionalized versions of them I'll have an easier time accepting. I think the contents of the story are way more important than the medium it is presented in. Specific franchises on the other hand? I won't do that. I will not care if it has the most toxic or controversial fanbase on Social Media from any perspective since I feel that blocking franchises based on that is downright unfair when we don't have control over such. Though I will say that I do need characters that have an easy time adapting to different storylines, so a character bound to a small place for instance won't really do (unless they're heavily linked to a character who isn't). There's also time travel where it'll complicate things in a group setting without proper intervention or management, so naturally a series or story heavily reliant on time travel might not be the best of ideas. (until later maybe)
