Miko and Ronin nodded in unison as Penny pointed them at the interdimensional cat flap. 

[color=55B7AA]‘Alright, let’s go!’[/color] Ronin was quick to start moving, and Miko was right behind her, no less determined.

They crossed through the cat-flap, went through and past anyone who might be left in here towards the next portal, and then-

Then both of them simultaneously widened their eyes and threw their hands up, putting their united strength together to throw up a barrier.

Mikayla’s ghosts slammed against their barrier, and the two girls gasped as the power of Asengav’s strongest girl struck against what little magical power the two had. Alone they’d have been immediately overwhelmed, together they could resist for a second. They couldn’t jump through and just let Mikayla’s ghosts go through the portal. However, with Mikayla’s ghosts continually slamming against the barrier, they wouldn’t be able to hold off for long-!

Luckily, they didn’t have to, as the portal suddenly closed [sub](as I have asked Shifter and Penny will close it)[/sub]. The two staggered to one knee each briefly, breathing heavily.

[color=55B7AA]‘G-good instinct, throwing up that barrier, Miko…’[/color] Ronin praised her sister.

[color=55B7AA]‘Yeah, and good thing we did! I didn’t expect to run straight into Mikayla…!’[/color] Ronin laughed, slightly weakly.

The two stood up, and then turned to look at whatever other Penny might still be with them.
