Standing at 183cm on her tip toes, Lull is rather small compared to her Orc brethren, a disadvantage faced by many of those with mixed heritage. Too meager to compete in brutal Orcish tradition and yet, too abominable to participate in human courtship rituals. Cruel rejection was a motivating force that carved her slender figure into formidable musculature. A proud posture displays a constant taunt to those that ever dared to doubt her.

The gem mines of Feros are worked exclusively by children. An excellent miner is cheap to hire, has dexterous hands and can fit through tight tunnels - qualities most six year-olds possess in spades. Lulli Mello was once one of those lucky few, her iron black lungs testament to a decade of service. Despite what one might consider traumatic, Lull holds fond memories of running through the burrows, digging treasures and bringing home money for her hulking, great, handsome mother. Back then, she was a flower that had grown through a crack in a wall, nothing like the soldier she would eventually choose to become. 
[/cell][/row][/table][indent]Another good thing about child labor is that the workforce is easily replenished, which is important when a cave-in could squash a good chunk of your employees at the whim of an old log. Lulli's awakening was the result of such an event, her prana reinforced her body like a suit of armor, resisting the pressure that would have otherwise suffocated her. Rescue efforts to retrieve the mined jewels also happened to result in Lulli being pulled from the rubble. It was only then considered that such a runt may actually be of use to the kingdom.[/indent]

Nullnaut is a skinny horse-sized black dragon that can fly at incredibly fast speeds. Lulli Mello and Nullnaut are bonded through their shared lived experience of being underestimated by kin. Although there are dragons that are much larger and deadlier, few can best Nullnaut in a race. He also has the added benefit of being able to accompany his rider on foot within city walls.
