She is not above others in The Circle, but for her young age she is at a higher level than she probably should be at considering her attitude towards things like work.[/i][/color]

She brings the energy to any room she finds herself in whether through witty dialogue or sarcastic euphemism. Or sometimes a simple wink and a smile. No one truly knows for sure if her intent is to brighten people’s day or if this aspect of her personality simply sits under the umbrella of her more manipulative traits.[/i][/color]

[color=d6d6d6][b]emotional intelligence[/b][/color] [color=808080][i]- In a somewhat stark contrast to her actions, Nelthea has grown to be very emotionally intelligent. She is savvy enough to understand her own emotions in correlation to the emotions of those around her and she uses this skill to navigate social interactions in a manner that equates to emotional manipulation for the most part. [color=d6d6d6][b]conflict / confrontation[/b][/color] [color=808080][i]-For all her big talk and wild ways, Nelthea is very patently not a fighter. She doesn’t relish true conflict or confrontation and will immediately enter into survival mode when faced with it—which means she’ll usually run away as if to preserve her own life. Even in a conflict of purely conversational means, Nelthea prefers not to dwell too long in negativity and would rather leave the entire situation than properly work through anything at all.[/i][/color]

[color=d6d6d6][b]Impetuosity[/b][/color] [color=808080][i]- Nelthea is beholden to the sudden whims of her fleeting feelings. While she might be interested, and even entertained, by something for a while, that energy fades and it is replaced by a rash, impulsive energy that causes her to act without thinking. Often. She is prone to making hasty decisions and declining to think things through properly until they make sense.[/i][/color]

[color=d6d6d6][b]phsyical strength[/b][/color] [color=808080][i]- Owing to her petite build, it can seem like Nelthea quite literally has no physical strength whatsoever. Though she has some, she is far weaker than she ought to be. She is ill-equipped for physical tasks altogether and routinely avoids anything that requires her to reveal her general level of physical strength.[/i][/color]

[color=808080] By all accounts the Anders were a good, wholesome family. Marlon Anders worked the bar at the Pine Ridge Saloon slinging both spirits and life advice in equal measures. His conversational abilities were as renowned as his prize winning smile. Corina Anders spent her time in Harv’s diner working the tables and bringing out the prize winning smiles of her customers through her ebullient table side manner. The Anders were simply nice, kind folks that had been survived in Pine Ridge for three generations. What they lacked in financial wealth they more than made up for in being family rich and generously helping out wherever and however they could. It had become an old adage at some point, if you needed a hand you needed an Anders. The fourth generation of their kin seemed set to single-handedly change that perception, one misstep at a time. 

Nelthea Anders was quite the anomaly. She came from two hard working parents that worked even harder when they knew they’d have a daughter to raise in the only home they’d known for years. She’d come from the union of two down-to-earth individuals who didn’t understand the meaning of taking it easy or taking advantage. Unbeknownst to her parents however, Nelthea had also come from something else. Something ancient and regal. And when, after lying dormant until her twelfth birthday, magic revealed itself to Nel, her first thoughts weren’t all she could do to help Pine Ridge. Her first thoughts were of all she could do. 

Nel spent the next eight years poring over books filled from end to end with information on the occult, magic, and supernatural phenomena. These were the only years her parents would ever label her as studious. But Nel had a plan. She intended to learn as much as she could about her newfound potential in order to be able to wield it as proficiently as possible. Because one couldn’t truly start having fun until they knew what they were doing, after all. She studied the texts endlessly, often reading the words repeatedly until they were seared into her brain and then practicing the practical application until they were burned into her muscle memory. She learned about the crystals that amplified certain spells, she learned about ritual incantations she had no means to practice because she didn’t know anyone else who had magical potential yet, and she learned about alchemy and transmutation that could influence reality itself in small, yet sharp ways. It was all intensely thrilling for the teen as he dove headfirst into a life she came to believe she was meant for. 

It was when she was 20 she joined The Circle. A frequent customer of the Black Lantern Apothecary, Nel introduced herself to Sable Pritchard in the wildest of ways—by fucking up a simple levitation spell and bringing some of her wares crashing to the ground. While it was nothing but a random, fleeting decision to reveal her abilities to the owner of an occult store, the logic felt sound in her mind. If the store’s owner sold and curated occult wares, wouldn’t they be impressed by actual magic? It was a gamble that paid off somewhat. While she was on the hook for the damaged items, Nel learned about The Circle and found herself inducted into a sisterhood of witches and magic. She was overjoyed and showed her gratitude in the only way she knew how. 

Nel vowed then and there that The Circle would always own her highest respects, even if nothing else could, and the witches therein she’d always treat like sisters. But everyone else in the world only got a silent warning. One they asked for or intended to receive. Nelthea Anders, under the guidance of The Circle and Sable Pritchard, was unleashed onto Pine Ridge, reborn and renewed. After seven years of more extensive teaching, study of ancient texts, and practical application, Nelthea settled into her new role and simply forgot about her old one. Forgot that she was the daughter of two hard working parents that questioned her whereabouts and motivations in life every time they saw her. Forgot that she grew up and went to school with one Sutton Lockwood, a friendship that had defined her childhood until the divergence in behaviors drove a wedge between the two women. Forgot that she had come from a good, wholesome family and nicely built home to live and study with The Circle full time. 

Nelthea Anders simply moved on and into a new chapter in her life. And her new goal was simple. It was time to have fun. As much fun as possible. Because when you knew what you were doing, why would you simply settle for anything less? [/color]
