All right, let’s take it from the top, one more time…
What’s your name? Scott Yi, ESU wrestling team captain. Strand, your friendly neighbor-hood super-hero. And you are? How old are you? 20, what's this for again? What do you look like? I'm right here, but okay. Black hair, kind of olive-ish skin tone, brown eyes; kinda almond-ish shaped, high cheek bones, square jaw, kinda muscular... I kind of went to a no-name school. Like, it literally had no name. PS 191, that was all it was ever called. Guess that's not important though, is it? Well, what can I say? My parents did their best. My dad works at a department store as a part-owner, and my mom was a CNA. They moved from Korea and who-knows-where-else before settling in this little apartment here in New York. I uh, wasn't always happy with being... well, I didn't always feel like me growing up, but that's in the past now. But because of some steep medical expenses in the past, despite doing a decent bit of studying, it looked like college was out of the question. Good thing I ended up getting the Osborne Physical Promise Academic Grant. Even got to meet old man Norman and his son Harry What happened after the incident? Super Strength: 0 Agility: 0 Durability: 0 Regeneration: 0 Spider-Sense: 100 Mutation: 0 So, yeah... Imagine knowing when things are going to happen before they happen... usually when it involves getting hurt. Now imagine waking up one day to find you rolled in your sleep- up a wall. Now imagine like, feeling these... threads, or something, that pull to other people. Yeah, it's weird. Seriously, who are you? Do you believe in aliens? I read about this once: Fermi Paradox. But basically, the galaxy's so big that even our oldest transmissions are no where near another star, so even if there were aliens, and even if they were intelligent, they'd have no way of knowing we exist. That's a little sad. What are your goals for the future? Well, scholarships don't qualify for themselves, so busting my back as usual. Aiming for physical therapy, or emotional counseling. I figure I can take one as a minor, and not kill myself too hard. You lived in New York for a while now, right? What do you think of the city? It's great. I mean, it's loud, it's crazy, but where else can a street artist, an Italian cook, and a little Chinese grandmother all share the same building? It's sort of like, the embodiment of America, in a way. Is that weird? How much technology do you use on a daily basis? I mean, when I was younger, I was a total audio-rat. I had headphones on like, ninety percent of the time. It drove my mom nuts. My dad would bring offages from the store that were slightly broken, and I would try to fix them, but I had more a passion than a talent for it. Recently, it's more for homework and stuff; so I'm not sure if it's a lot less, or just as much. What do you like? Full of loaded questions today, huh. Okay, okay, I'm cooperating. Music, if that wasn't obvious from before. Also, big weakness for chilli-fries. They're absolute trash but I love them. But nothing beats a home-cooked meal; the fact that my mom makes a lot of Korean food has a lot to do with it. Uh, hanging with friends... but I do a lot of, let's say, nocturnal extracurricular activities. What do you dislike? This is gonna sound weird, but I don't drink milk much. I sort of avoid dairy altogether. Not a big fan of being like, alone alone, ya'know? Also, all this pressure about being in a relationship and having sex and stuff- I don't gel with it. Just let me chill guys, seriously. Do you think true evil exists? Wow, deep stuff today. I can't say I've given that serious thought. I think it's mostly people who made bad choices. What’s your favorite color? Probably this one, [98fb98], although this is cool too, and this. Favorite song? That is... a difficult choice. Maybe this one? Or this one? Anything else to add? No, not really. What's this for again? What are your thoughts on these people? Marcus Tanner Literally, this guy- I've known him since probably before we could both walk. Sometimes I think he knows me better than I know myself. Which, in all likelihood, is possible. I don't know if I'd have gotten through those 'medical expenses' without him. There were times when like, no one was smiling, and then, there he was. Susan Yi That's my mom. She expects a lot out of me, put is probably more forgiving of me than I am of myself. Also, she makes some of the best food in the world, hands down. And she has a weird habbit of being way too chill with having guests over, especially if they have dinner. With what's been going on, I feel like that's a good thing. Dae-won "Devon" Yi My dad is a hard worker to a fault. He expects me to do well, just as much as my mom does. But he's never not done what he had to for us, and he'd always be sure to make it home every night, even when it would cost him a promotion or something. Not that I ever think it did. You know what I mean. He took a bit to adjust to the... post medical scenario, but he was always on my side. And we would always talk about the new shipments of electronics coming into the store, so talking to him's not, like, hard? Still... I can't really tell him about the whole Recluse thing. He'd have an aneurysm. Danny Davis We went to the same elementary school for a while. Haven't seen him in ages. I just can't stand how he got bullied like that. Where ever he is, I hope he's safe.

All right, let’s take it from the top, one more time…
What’s your name? Nat Konig. Just Nat. No, you don't get to know if it's short for anything. [s]Also known as Harvester[/s] How old are you? Eighteen. What do you look like? Uh, kinda lanky, long hair... not sure what else there is to tell. I like bomber jackets? And my eyes are like, yellow. I used to live out in Wisconsin, until my parents split up. My dad got an apartment in New York and my mom went to Buffalo to live closer to my older brother and his kids. It was... stressful. I started dancing just to blow off steam. Turns out... I'm kinda good at it. Thought about applying to Julliard, but it wasn't a “career” thing for me, more of a way to like... level my head. Speaking of being pissed- I started writing a lot. Stuff that was bugging me. I snapped a few pencils that way. In general I tend to be kind of a homebody. Other than scoping campuses in the area, I was basically doing personal op-eds, even back before we moved. Another thing that's the same since back then, I don't really go out a lot. It kinda causes a rift sometimes. Especially with my brother. I was always the quiet type who was content to follow rules, and it always felt like my brother resented that. What happened after the incident? Super Strength: 27 Agility: 1 Durability: 35 Regeneration: 1 Spider-Sense: 1 Mutation: 35 So... I can stick to walls- no, that's not an innuendo. And my skin's super tough too. Sometimes tougher than others. And there're these weird... like quills in my hair? Nobody's noticed them yet, but they've been shedding into my hoods like crazy. Sometimes I feel like I can tell what's around a corner before I actually turn it, and I have a better sense of space in the dark too. It's kinda weird. Plus there's the like... web thing? Do you believe in aliens? Depends on what you mean. If there are aliens, they're probably nothing like how they look in the movies. Like they're mostly just “weird guys”? It's probably like bacteria, or something like plants. What are your goals for the future? I... I think I might get into journalism. There's too much messed up stuff going on in the world. I need to be able to something about it. You lived in New York for a while now, right? What do you think of the city? I mean, for a bit. It's... kind of a lot? Like it's cool that there's always stuff around, but it's kind of... disorienting how it never stops. How much technology do you use on a daily basis? No comment. (I don't need anyone else up my ass about it.) What do you like? I like dancing, I like quiet, I like that feeling when you get a piece done, I like a nice hot cup of coffee, I like roller coasters, and I like jazz. But that's none of your business. Shut up. What do you dislike? I hate when it's hot out and my hair gets all clumpy. I can't stand that feeling when you wake up and have no idea what time it is. I'm not a big fan of licorice I hate sunburn. Do you think true evil exists? It's called corporate greed. Next question. What’s your favorite color? This one. I think it's called [a6c47d] Favorite song? Anything else to add? Why am I here, exactly? I’d say she’s an absolute doll, but she’s sharp as a tack and has a razor wit. I’d hate to be on her bad side. She's wicked smart too, like musically speaking. Raymond Davis What can I say about Ray that hasn’t been said? He has a lot going on, it looks like. He seems to get on Kimmy's nerves sometimes, but never that seriously. There's a lot about his past that he doesn't talk about. I don't want to pry. Strand While I'd love to believe there's some vigilante out there, it really just feels like a smokescreen story to me. Why is only one paper reporting on him? Colin Cantor I've seen him once or twice at the ESU writing workshops. We haven't really talked much. Seems alright enough. Karl Konig My dad's a hard worker. Both him and his father are, or were, electricians. His version of 'being there' is making sure the bills get paid on time, so I know he cares, but he's not the most emotionally available. Maria Konig My mom's basically the prototypical 'mother bear' type. She cares, she cooks, stayed home when we were little so we wouldn't have to wait for her, but maybe a little too protective. Bethany Konig Maybe the best older sister in the world? She's doing pretty well for herself now. Even has a place at a practice doing child psychology. Alexander Konig My oldest brother's been a pilot for years now. He travels a lot, and sometimes gets deployed. We weren't always that close, considering the age gap between us. Lee Konig My younger brother's more the quiet type, at least at home. He does sports with James, and inside hobbies with me. We play little knick-knack games sometimes. James Konig Where do I begin. James can be... difficult at times. Or... all the time. I love him to death, but damn man. Like, you try and take care of someone for most of your life, but they keep lashing out, pushing you away... It's hard. More TBD
