I'm going to pretend I didn't spend my lunch hours at College today, recreating my characters history into a short novel lmost three thousand or so letters wrong, and I'm just going to scrap this character and come up with something else. And I apologise for dragging out my characters creation for this long. I haven't put this much effort into making a character in a while.

As for the fact as Faster-than-Light travel exists, I would go as far as to assume that the reason people haven't colonised other planets, is it still takes years upon years to get somewhere? Taking a few years for a message to go one-way, and then the same amount of time for a reply is very counter-productive to long term survival.
