[*][color=00ff66][u][b]Brief Backstory[/b][/u]:[/color] Farm girl from the New Iowa colony, Lara got into a fight with her parents and ran off to enlist in the Imperial Navy as an undesignated crewman. After training,  she was assigned to the ISS Brookland, an aging auxiliary tender ship where she worked in deck division, helping to load and transfer cargo, moor ships and configure airlocks, basic ship maintenance, as well as standing various bridge duties.

Lara studied up on her training modules and managed to cross-rate to Electronic Technician, rising to petty officer third class. However, after a scuffle in the tender's Air Factory monitoring office and her knocking out atmospheric technician second class Jake Petri twice, the last time during Captain's Mast while wearing a pair of brass knuckles in front of the captain and the senior officers, she was dismissed from Imperial Service with a bad conduct discharge.

Not wishing to return home in disgrace, Lara obtained her spacer's license, but was repeatedly rejected by several ships because of the BCD on her file until she landed a berth with Laurentia's crew.

Her eggs are in storage at a fertility clinic in New Iowa & ship's medlab.

As far as her technical skills, she was driving and repairing loaders since she was eleven, can process and move cargo, undestands electricity and electronics, digital electronics, and how to use a vacc suit. She has basic ship certification and watchstander experience.

Among her personal skills, she can sew, embroider, pick mechanical locks, and can play UNO and Monopoly very well.
