Superpowered people have been recorded since the time of the caveman. In 2026, humans with superhuman abilities are commonplace. Superheroes and Villains are constantly fighting each other, and the collateral damage that would come from that.  Earth’s main heroes are the Guardians of Earth. First started in 1938 with Utopian, Star Spangled Banner I, Freya, and Nighthawk I. Fighting the Nazi’s and keeping the peace internally and externally for the next couple of decades. Sometime in the 70’s and 80’s, the next generation of Heroes were brought into the fold.

This batch of heroes was trying to stop the Cold War from going into WW3. During this time, many groups formed, including the Dark Guardians, who fought supernatural threats; the Young Guardians, a group of young heroes; and the Galactic Guardians, who faced alien threats. There have been other superhuman groups. 

In the 90’s and 00’s, the heroes of old started to grow old and fade away. Edgy and new heroes were introduced, with their mission being more to serve the US/NATO and protect the world from Terrorism. Heroes of this era became more like celebrities, who became more superficial and self-centred.  Sometime before the start of the Roleplay, most of the Guardians were killed by the supervillain called The Hood. The only survivors were Utopian and Freya. Utopian and the head of the CIA, named Donald Baker, are planning to recruit new heroes.

1. Please be respectful to other players and your GM. If you have any disagreements, please try to work them out via DM’s.

2. The deadline for posting will be weekly and or bi-weekly. With Sunday or Monday being when I expect you to post. If you need help, then you may contact me via PMs. And if you are unable to post, please let me know so I can continue the RP. Being unable to notify me of your posting, then I will continue the RP without you.

3. I expect the length of your post to be between 1 and 7 paragraphs. I’m not expecting you to write a novel for each post. And I will not accept one or four sentences per post.

4. Character applications will go into the OOC (where we can work things out) until they are accepted. In other words, the character tab is for accepted characters only.

5. Please feel free to use the OOC to contact me or any other players.

6. No Powergaming, God-Modding, Metagaming, etc.

7. Romance/Sex/Whatever is something that happens, so if anything intimate happens, then just have it “fade to black” and move on
