The place was quite high table, in a way that Kila had to admit felt somewhat foreign to him. Despite being the bastard Heir of Buredunia, his father didn’t often bring him to events like this unless it was to teach him something. Most of his training, and local press about him apparently, was centralized around KJ’s not being spoiled by living lavishly in the President’s Palace. Instead of a political puppet, he would be a hardened soldier and leader that could protect their land from the frontlines as well as in the office. This would be considered his first test. Therefore, he would not fail by showing this inexperience. His Father and Buredunia’s representation was of utmost importance.

As they had been split from the group of other young Gala guests, the hunter stopped to study the prey. He noticed the groups that had formed, and who went where. Meilin had taken the huntress in the room, watching from a distance. There were other notable faces that he’d read of in the past someplace, but those voices were louder; less threatening in a larger scale. 

So, naturally that would draw the young lion’s attention to the other who did not speak as much. An older man, whose interactions were in more hushed tones. While the others that shared his objectives meandered, Kila set his mark on Alton Carver, albeit not directly. The Prince started to walk with his arms behind him though with one looped with Lady Yemoja. Knowing his guide was nearby, he delayed his route momentarily to address Red X.
