[@shylarah] Characters would be at least 21+. The idea for me is that they're young adults, perhaps have already established lives/careers for themselves. The starting point of the roleplay I'm kind of thinking that some characters would already be Awakened (established/described in their character sheet), and then meeting up with another successor that hasn't Awakened yet as they're about to be attacked (and that would be played out in the roleplay). I thought that would be a good way to get interactions going from the jump. Then there'd be a timeskip to a larger location that the successors have travelled to (divine intervention helping them get there). This would be something like Central Park in NYC or Hyde Park in London. A big open space where it's not going to be too unusual for a large group to meet up/form. I'm hoping that the roleplay will be a steady pace. Enough time for everyone to interact with one another, but also not so slow that they're dwelling in the same spot forever. Hopefully that all makes sense! -- For everyone, thanks for the interest! Just to be clear, the characters aren't related biologically to the Gods, they are chosen as 'successors', deemed worthy and strong enough to be bestowed some of their power. Additionally, it would be one character/successor per God. Successors do not have to be the same gender as the God/Goddess they were chosen by. Nor do they have to follow any specific relationships between them (for example, Zeus and Hera's Successors don't have to be/get married - the exception is Apollo and Artemis, for whom I would strongly encourage that they are at least siblings if not twins). However, also remember that they would have been chosen by particular Gods/Goddesses for a reason - for example, the famously virgin Goddesses Athena, Artemis and Hestia would be more likely to choose female Successors.
