Zeke twitched. He didn’t do well with being told no or being told to back off. He didn’t even really register Demetri until the raven-haired man stepped closer to him, filling his view completely. Zeke met Demetri’s eyes, narrowing them until his words sank in. He looked back at Nancy, seeing the annoyance on her face. He deflated, rubbing the back of his neck.
