He is handsome, and he knows it. He’s got blond hair he actually puts effort into styling (even if he pretends he doesn’t), bright blue eyes, clear skin, and a lean, athletic build he keeps up with regular workouts and a bit of vanity. His features are sharp and naturally photogenic. He’s the kind of person who somehow looks good in pictures without trying… except he absolutely is trying. His style is clean, fashionable, and just a little extra. Fitted clothes, nice jackets, jewelry, anything that makes him look put together without screaming that he spent an hour picking it out. He’s always at least a little groomed, and there’s usually some kind of skincare or subtle makeup involved. Pink is his favorite color, and he’ll find a way to work it into his look one way or another. Personality: Tyler is charming, flirty, and a little full of himself, but in a way that usually works for him. He knows how to get attention and keep it, and he’s very aware of how people see him. Being online as an influencer and trying to break into acting means he’s basically always “on,” even when he doesn’t realize it. He’s funny, a bit dramatic, and good at talking his way out of uncomfortable situations. If something actually gets to him, he’s way more likely to joke about it or flirt his way past it than deal with it directly. Tyler’s first instinct is usually to talk his way through a problem rather than listen to someone else. He likes being admired. He kind of needs it, but would never admit that out loud. Underneath all that, he’s more insecure than he lets on. He worries that people only care about how he looks and not who he is, but at the same time, he leans into that because it works. It’s easier to be wanted than to risk being known and rejected. He’s not a bad person, though. He can be thoughtful and genuinely kind when he wants to be. He just doesn’t always know how to stop putting on the act everyone expects. Short Bio: Tyler built his life around being seen. Online, he’s a beauty influencer with a decent following. He posts skincare, fashion, the occasional acting clip, and photos that definitely took more effort than he claims. He’s not famous, but he’s known enough that people recognize him sometimes, and yeah, he enjoys that. What he really wants, though, is to be an actor. Not just someone people look at, but someone people actually take seriously. So far, that hasn’t exactly worked out. Most of the attention he gets is about his appearance, and it’s starting to feel like that’s all anyone sees. Even before everything changed, Tyler was good at reading people. He knew what they liked, what they wanted, and how to give them just enough of it to keep their attention. He thought it was just instinct. Then everything went wrong. It was a brand launch. Fancy venue, free drinks, good lighting, a bunch of influencers competing for the spotlight. Normal for him. He was filming, posting, doing his thing… and then things started feeling off. He couldn’t explain why at first. Then someone screamed. The “guests” weren’t guests. They were Sirens. And once they stopped pretending, everything just… collapsed. They started singing, and their voices got into people’s heads, pulled them in. People weren’t even running, they were walking toward them like they wanted to. Tyler almost did too. What happened next felt like a dream. A voice introduced itself as Aphrodite, explained far too casually that the Titans were trying to escape, informed him that he had been chosen as her Successor, and instructed him to find the others and trust his intuition. Then he was back at the event, mirror in hand, with powers he somehow understood despite having no idea what was happening. When he looked into the mirror, it wasn’t just his reflection. It was… more than that. Like he could see what people wanted. When one of the Sirens came for him, he panicked and used the mirror without really knowing how. The mirror flashed, and the Siren just stopped. Like it got caught in an illusion only it could see. That pause was enough for him to get out. After that, nothing made sense anymore. Now he can create illusions. Specifically, things people want to see. Their heart’s desire, their true love, the most beautiful version of themselves… It’s useful, but it’s also… a lot. Way more personal than he’s comfortable with. Being chosen by Aphrodite should feel like a compliment. Honestly, part of him still thinks it is. But the more he uses it, the more he realizes this isn’t just about looking good or getting attention. Now he’s stuck dealing with gods, monsters, and a future he never signed up for.
