History

A Memory: When Ros was eight, her father got her a toy Doctor's kit for Christmas. He was a doctor and her mother was a receptionist for a dental practice, so healthcare had always been important to him. As she had opened the kit and examined it, the bright red and blue and yellow colors of the plastic bright against the stark white of their carpet, she remembered him looking down at her with the biggest, proudest grin on his face. "Some day, Rozzie, you will save people just like Daddy," He said proudly, with tears in his eyes. She knew in that moment, that she would do whatever it took to never disappoint their parents. She held that colorful plastic in her hands and grinned up at her father, and to this day, that is still her favorite Christmas.
History: Ros has lived her entire life doing exactly as her father asked of her. She was the top of her class all throughout primary an secondary school, graduated with honors, got her Master's degree, she did everything right. Determined to never disappoint her parents, she led two lives for a very long time. One life as the dutiful nurse, the one who's only focus was being a great nurse and an even better daughter. But her other life, that one was much different. Her other life let her be free, she could dance in clubs whenever she wanted, take home whoever she wanted, do whatever she wanted...to a point. She never dabbled in anything illegal, unless you counted the times she taught herself to be a world class coder and hacker simply because she loves all things technological. She knew her parents would never understand, they were totally against tech and were the types to call it "the doorway to corruption and the devil". They were very religious, conservative types.
Which is why Ros also never shared that she liked women, she liked men too, but she liked women better. Ros kept so many secrets, from so many people, all so that she would never diminish in the eyes of her parents. It was just until they were gone, she told herself, just until she no longer had them looking over her shoulder. She wanted to make them happy by being the perfect daughter, never any stress in their lives, that was her goal. But she wasn't soft, she wasn't dutiful, and she wasn't the person she pretended to be in front of her parents. She was a fighter, strong, stubborn, and wickedly intelligent. Her silver-tongue and quick wit could very well get her in some real trouble some day, but luckily, she has spent many years playing someone very different. But she longed for more, for adventure, for a life outside of her tiny stretch of London. Maybe some day, when her parents were gone...maybe...

Character Summary
Name: Naomi Dawn Rivers
Aliases: Aquatronic
Age: 32
Birthday: March 19th
Ethnicity: White/European
Gender: Female
Education: Bachelor's in Science for Information Technology
Job: IT Analyst for a tech company called LogiMax Inc.
Powers:
*Water Manipulation-- Naomi has the ability to completely control, manipulate, and maneuver water as if it is an extension of herself. She can wield up to her own body weight in water at any given time, but the heavier the water, the more tired she gets quicker. She usually uses the water for offensive purposes, defensive when need be, and for convenience when she is feeling particularly lazy.
Her style of fighting with her water powers can be best described as a dance. She mostly uses her water in the form of a long whip, also will produce smaller jets of water like water bombs, and shurikens style blades of water. She can be known to trap her enemies in a water dome, or create a dome or shield for herself out of water for defensive purposes.
*Technology Manipulation-- On top of being a world-class self-taught hacker and coder, Naomi can manipulate and control technology in the same way she can water. She doesn't really use this power offensively and mostly uses it for hacking, coding, and tracking purposes. She probably could use it offensively if she wanted to, but she hasn't practiced that method of fighting yet with her powers, tending to stick to her water powers when fighting.
Appearance
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 140 lbs.
Build: Athletic
Eyes: Green
Hair: /Black
Skin Tone: Ivory
Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: Naomi had many tattoos: a spiderweb on the left side of her neck, a smiley face on her right middle finger right above the knuckle, binary code on both forearms, a big gothic cross on her back, that's just to name a few. She's got a few more random dribbles scribbles on to her body, she's kind of addicted to tattoos, honestly.
Piercings: despite loving tattoos, she has no piercings other than her ears.
Personal Style: Naomi is a goth girl at her core, with some punk rock thrown in. She loves biker boots, the color black, anything spider or spiderweb themed (they're her favorite), and all things horror and gothic. She loves the riot girl scene and anything punk or rock and roll. She's a big fan of the "stick it to thean, free the people" mindset of the punk scene.
Psychology

Sexuality: Bisexual
Relationship Status: Single but Emotionally Unavailable
Personality: Naomi is snarky, sarcastic, blunt, cocky, adventurous, a total rockstar personality. She's also bubbly, loves animals, has a soft spot for children, and can be quite girly sometimes. She's very much "I broke a nail, now I'm going to break your face", especially if you mess with an innocent person or someone she cares about. She's a do-gooder to her core, but punk rock about it. She's all about fair justice, fair treatment, and kindness. Not niceness, kindness, there is a difference and she makes sure people know that.
Naomi is equal parts rough and tumble and no wait don't mess up my hair. She has a tendency to roll her eyes too much, she talks with her hands a lot, gets very animated, and will routinely twirl her hair. She will also outsmart you, outhack you, and outwit you every single time. Her brain is faster than most, smarter than most, and a very powerful piece of technology in it's own right.
Habits: Twirling her hair, biting her lip, rolling her eyes, and sarcasm.
Hobbies: Hacking, coding, swimming, hanging out with her animals, playing video games, and reading...a lot.
Fears:
- Clowns

Dislikes:
- Bullies
- Tight/enclosed spaces
- Carnivals or the circus
- The unfair justice system
- Ostriches-- they creep her out
- People who bite their nails
History

A Memory: Naomi would swear the powers were genetic, because her father had the power to control water before he died. That was least favorite memory, but the one that stuck...the day her dad died. It was a car crash, some drunk jerk running a stop light...her father had shielded the both with his water. But it hasn't been enough, when Naomi woke up, she was in the hospital...and her father was gone. She remembered hating her water powers for a long time, but now she likes to think it's the one thing she has left to connect her to her father.
History: Naomi was raised your typical normal kid, she had two loving (yet both super powered) parents, went to a normal school, and was raised like a normal person...a normal person with powers. She started controlling water when she was an infant, more powerful than her father tenfold, and the light of her parent's life. She was given every advantage, spoiled as much as a loved child can be, and was relatively well liked in school. Sure, she was a nerdy kid who loved video games and comic books, but she had plenty of friends. Making friends was never a hard thing for her.
She was 8 when the first tragedy struck, her dad died protecting her. Her mom couldn't cope, she stopped living and just survived...but only for five more years. She did her best, but her heart and spirit had been broken when she'd lost her husband. Naomi was depressed for a long time because of it, she had a loving aunt upstate who raised her and did her best, but it was never the same. The goth and punk scenes were her escape, the anger was something she could relate to.
When she graduated high school, she went to college for technology and then began working for the company she still works for to this day. Her life after her parents were gone, was still relatively normal...except being an undercover secret superhero that tries her best to keep her city safe. No one knew she was Aquatronic, that she knew of...a she hoped to keep it that way as long as she could.

FC:Annaliese Van der Pol
Azalea Opal Aster| 23 | Female | Demeter Successor
Sexuality: Bisexual (with a preference for women)
Power: Plant Manipulation
Weapon: Sickle
(imagine it without all the card info, it was the only picture of her weapon I found that I liked. Also, make the handle shorter, more handheld. It's a sickle, but I know the card says Scythe.)

Appearance: Azalea is tall (5'7), pretty, fair skinned, and has caramel colored brown eyes. She has a bright, wide smile, dimples, and long red hair that goes just past her shoulders. She's not very aware of how conventionally pretty she is, often thinking her eyes are too big for her face. She doesn't really put that much effort into her appearance and isn't one to wear makeup very often, the occasional mascara pops up sometimes, though.
Her style is simple, bright colors, and very floral. She loves anything flowy and light, loves dresses and anything feminine. She's very much a flower/fairy core type of person in the way that she dresses and really does enjoy looking like she belongs in a forest as Queen of the fairies. She loves pastels, soft fabrics, and anything green (it's her favorite color).
Personality: Azalea is smart, but not all the time. She can be quite airheaded from time to time, despite always having her nose in a book or in some soil. She loves the outdoors, flowers, plants, books, painting, music, and animals. She has a soft spot for children, is compassionate, patient, and kind to a fault. She is not a person to be mean to anyone, or to dislike anyone really (except bullies). She is the light of every room she walks into, but she's also a wallflower to her core. She is not one to initiate conversation, is not very confident in herself, and gets anxiety around large crowds.
She's convinced she is too much, even though she could stand to be so much more. She questions everything she does a thousand times in her head before doing it, will edit and correct herself more often than she should, and shies away from any spotlight placed on her. But when she gets mad (it's rare, but it happens) steer clear, because she gets scary. She is a firm believer in right and wrong, fair justice, fair treatment, and that everyone deserves kindness and respect. She's soft-spoken but her words always carry weight.
Short Bio:
Ever since she was a child, Azalea loved nature and everything about it. She often thought it was just a coincidence, being named literally after nature and then having an affinity for it. She had always been the quiet kid who played with plants, read too many books, and didn't have a whole lot of friends. She much preferred the company of plants and books to people, finding people confusing and tedious. Plants didn't want anything from you but water and sunlight, they didn't leave you when you weren't interesting enough, and they didn't expect you to fill the silence with mindless noise. Azalea could have spent her entire life in the forest, or a greenhouse, anywhere there was foliage and life.
She had gotten a job in a flower shop, with it's own greenhouse or two, and she loved it. Her life was simple, go to work, come home, read a book, go to bed, and then do it all over again. She loved it. She loved her two cats (two female orange cats named Barley and Clove), her three snakes (one Rosy Boa named Rose, ironically enough....a ball python named Sage, and a corn snake named Lemon), and her bearded dragon named Stella. When she wasn't at work or tending to her garden, she was spending time with them. They were her closest friends.
Her life was simple... and then she awakened.
She'd been at work, tending to the flowers in the greenhouse when she had heard a noise outside, it had sounded like a strangled cry. Azalea had walked outside, where a small fountain that flowed into a slightly larger pond sat. The water was acting strangely, taking form...the form of of a woman? It was some sort of human-like figure but with longer, pointier ears. Azalea had read about elves, but they couldn't actually exist. Convinced she was losing her mind, she almost turned back into the greenhouse. But then, it was like her head was splitting open, her vision went blurry for a moment, and she had this cacophony of voices explaining that she was a successor...to the goddess Demeter. Before she could even gather her bearings, her vision cleared and the voice vanished. The small tool in her hand (she'd been using a small, hand tiller to tend to the soil) seemed to transform before her eyes into a slightly larger green sickle and gold sickle.
Azalea wasn't sure what compelled her to jump into action, instinct over thought for sure, but she felt herself lunge forward and slash at the figure with her sickle. The water exploded into a pool and splashed onto the ground, and Azalea stood there panting.
So, that was why she loved plants...why she'd always felt an affinity for them. She remembered looking down at her hands, wondering where her life would lead her now. The voice had told her to find the others, making her believe she wasn't the only one. Had they all randomly awoken with strange weapons like she had? What else about her had changed? Azalea's head swam, what had she just gotten into?
