I am not entirely sure on how all this on this site works yet so please excuse any mistakes made by me! OUR PROMISE The world has been in pain long long ago due to a multi century war that ravaged the Human race. As such Humanity has chosen to conquer the stars and colonize a new home instead of fixing their birthplace. With that the Penrose Program has been called to life. A program designed to send a singular human onto the search for a new home. However, isolation in their Vessels returned results no one first expected. 87% of Humans on the Penrose Program that got send into the stars committed suicide in the first 4 weeks. In return Humanity has developed a Replika of the Human mind and Body. Many call them Androids or similar. Codename : LSTR LSTR, Standing for Elster ist a Humanoid Android with an Artificial Intelligence made out of multiple Memories, experiences and Consciousnesses of Many Humans. From Technicians, Political Figures as well as Soldiers. These LSTR Units are designed to grow up, live and act like regular humans to develop their own personalities, although studies have shown that some gain recollection of their past "Lives" due to certain Stimuli causing their sanity to spiral and collapse. LSTR Units are designed to fit in between Humans to understand and bond with them so they could assist in helping the chosen Humans to go into the Penrose Program to not be lonely and isolated although forming a intimate bond and relationship is highly illegal. They also have to eat, sleep and do other things. Optically they are almost indistinguishable from Regular humans besides a few things such as Programming Access ports on their necks, silent humm of servos when they move, their "blood" being darker than those of humans and the metal under their skins being grey/black opposed to the red meat Humans possess. 5000 Cycles Later Penrose Vessel 512 has crashed on Earth after 5000 Days of Travel. The Penrose Program aswell as production of LSTR Units have stopped long ago, the memories of which were swept under the rug. Earth was still a wasteland, yet a liveable one. As you are the first one to see the Crashed Vessel bearing flags of a long forgotten nation you encounter a messy scene. The Human pilot has long passed away, their Skeleton bare on their bunk bed. However upon going deeper into the vessel you find a cracked Cryo-Stasis pod inhabitated by LSTR Unit 581 nicknamed "Amber". You stand before a choice. Do you rescue what you think is a living human? Or do you call in the Authorities?
