Power? Such an ambiguous offer but one that didn't seem too bad at the very least if it could help her attain a more permanent form to take on, and one not as tiny as her current one at that! There was also the need to gain as much strength as possible to deal with the bastard who figured it would be funny to shove her soul into some random stick...alas though, Taotie didn't have much more time to contemplate her wishes as the group was starting to be attacked already much to her displeasure.

Looking at them close up, they reminded her of the usual stereotypical goblins that fantasy settings just love to have but these ones seemed to be rather reptilian looking too with murky scales that hopefully weren't too tough. After all a girl like her had better things to do with her time than to float around and be on pest control duty for shifty amounts of pay!
