You remember when you were just a wee thing. Your old grandmother used to warn of the fair folk that dwelt amongst the trees deep within the ancient woods. Time has passed and your grandmother and her stories have been absent as you passed into your adult years. Now you find yourself somewhere you should know better than to be. The woods now seem endless. Do you fear? Or do you find comfort amongst nature? Looking behind you, the path that brought you here has vanished. The hair on your neck raises slightly. It feels like you are being watched but no matter where you turn. It is simple oak and thorn. The lullaby of the birds' echoes all around you. You notice a flicker of movement out of the corner of your eye. Something crossed the sunshine that was cascading through the pines. Only now does your grandmother's voice resound in your mind. I have in my mind a story that could go in multiple directions. Were you seeking to disappear? An adventurer? Someone who was just passing by and took a wrong turn? Romance?!? Action?!?! Bitter betrayal?!? A little dab of it all?! Good gosh almighty, the possibilities. Nothing even says you have to play a human, though what I would deem the standard story in my mind and its world has that as the default placeholder female lead. I won't say no to a curveball if it's interesting. If you are still here despite my ramblings, please shoot me a DM so we can iron out the details.
