Jake's eyes lit up. He [i]really[/i] liked the sound of the name Jacob. It was just like Jake, with a bonus [i]Ob[/i] at the end! [COLOR=9A5B8A]"I'm gonna be Jacob, now!!"[/color] It made him so giddy with happiness that he had to squirm a bit to release the energy, so much so that he almost forgot about the odd heaviness he felt. Connie had explained that, too. The statue was pulling at his magic. He didn't mind sharing if that was what the statue needed! He didn't think it would drive him insane, either. He didn't know what being insane meant anyway, so why would it be a concern to him? It sounded like Connie was concerned about it, though, so Jacob was glad that it wasn't pulling away at her magic. 

[COLOR=9A5B8A]"Oh, wow, I can feel the pull!!"[/color] If he noticed Barty saying mean things about him, he didn't make a comment. He was just thrilled to be able to feel the effect that Connie was describing. The statue had wanted some of his magic, and with the sharp tug, he felt it welling up more and more inside of him - expanding and pressing and almost painful in the need for release, as his eyes widened. The sensation had gone from welcome to unpleasant in a moment, the same pressure he'd felt from the one time he'd made the mistake of eating food, and his eyes began to water. [COLOR=9A5B8A]"Connie, is the pull supposed to hurt like this?"[/color] he whimpered, staggering forward and landing on his knees. He stared at his two friends for a moment, before with a scream energy burst out of him, an intense and dazzling light that would blind both Connie and Barty, banishing shade and shadow from the room. He was glowing rainbows from head to toe, his form indistinct and only vaguely humanoid to those who looked at him just from the intense brightness.
