[COLOR=DARKGRAY][indent] At only 8 months, Ji-woo would spend one week in labor to give birth to a premature Leo, his father did not deem it worth up to the birth of his youngest as the boy was already tainted by weakness. It was not until an interesting turn of events revealed that the newborn held powers like his predecessors, an uncontrolled ability that was but a flicker of what he would have as an adult. This knowledge would bring his father running, the hero Singularity finally holding one of his children on the day they were born. His brother Lucas, and sister Laney could only stand at awe at their father's affection for his youngest, an affection that they had longed for. Unbeknownst to them, Leo would be the one person to bring happiness to a jaded hero. 

Throughout his formative years, Leo would train underneath his father, his siblings pushed to the sidelines. With a smile on his face, Singularity constantly pushed his youngest heir to achieve perfection in every movement. With every smile, every “good job”, and moment of approval created a rift between Leo and Lucas. Their father’s negligence acted as the progenitor to Lucas’ eventual fall to darkness. As time passed, Leo and Lucas would grow farther apart, fighting at every opportunity. 

Anger. Anger filled Leo all throughout middle school, learning that his issues with controlling his rage was an inherited trait from his father. Anger inclination was prevalent through his life, Leo unable to handle the poking, prodding, and bullying that stemmed from Singularity’s reputation as a hated hero. He tried often to avoid fights until he blew up at people, even ending with an expulsion from his first school. Singularity would use that rage boiling inside his son as a means of training, while finishing his schooling from home. 

Forgoing a standard high school education, Leo would follow in his father's footsteps, joining alongside him to become Singularity's sidekick. He never knew his father's ulterior motives to increase the stock of their family's name through a sidekick, forsaking all other ventures. This venture would only grow worse as time would go on, Leo letting his anger take over, and getting people hurt at the expense of stopping criminals. The brutality would reach a breaking point with Leo nearly killing a man, blood dripping from his hands while his father patted him on the back. Unable to reconcile with his actions, Leo would willingly enter into his Korean Compulsory Service early. 

Entering the military, Leo would undergo a change. While his rage still burned bright, he learned to harness that rage under the command of the Marines, his commanding officer finding something special within Leo that aimed to cultivate. Several years would pass as Leo worked tirelessly within the Marines, earning a name for himself as a dependable soldier who takes care of his brothers in arms. Upon the end of his service, Leo would be approached by his mother Ji-woo as a representative of Vanguard, recruiting her own son into the organization off the strength of his military career.

An unfortunate turn of events would lead Leo back to the life of a hero, the death of his father at the hands of his brother. A meeting between the three, an attempt to reconcile their differences at the behest of their father would end in a bloodbath, Lucas revealing how depraved he had become since separating from the family, even injuring Leo during his escape. The news would spread fast about the death of Singularity, profoundly affecting Leo, despite a slight strained bond, he loved his father and held fond memories of their time together. The grief of loss would only spur the man into action. He would be granted the request to transfer to Calder City and tasked with bringing his brother to justice under the command of Karl Lichtenstein. Revenge could change a man and Leo would learn this first hand.

[color=ed1c24]Kinetic Energy Manipulation [/color]- Leo was born with the ability to manipulate kinetic energy, primarily for absorption. This manipulation presents itself as a thin field of inertia around his body. Kinetic is robbed from objects, potentially from energy based attacks, diminishing their impact and metabolizing the energy within his body. His body acts as a reserve turning himself into a kinetic battery of sorts. Every step provides him with a small source of kinetic energy to absorb. Leo's main limitation is that his body resets during periods of a loss of consciousness, slowly draining his body of his kinetic energy reserves. Secondly, his body can only handle a set amount of Kinetic energy, actively causing him pain when at the max he can handle, eventually needing to expel this energy outward. The expulsion of energy radiates outward from his whole body violently, too much energy built up can tear his body apart if he does not willingly release it all, forcing him back to his base abilities. 

[color=ed1c24]Kinetic Strength [/color]- Leo's strength grows with how much he absorbs, allowing him to strike and lift at levels beyond what a human can do. A properly energized Leo can lift cars above his head, and tears apart metal with his bare hands. With great effort, at the max he can handle, Leo can lift a semi truck. His potential will only grow as he trains to handle greater levels of kinetic energy. 

[color=ed1c24]Kinetic Speed[/color] - With increased levels of strength comes the ability to run faster than your greatest Olympian when he is properly energized. Leo is not to be confused with a speedster. This speed also extends to his ability to punch and kick, growing faster with each passing absorption. Leo can uniquely rotate kinetic energy throughout his legs to give his legs enough strength to propel his entire body forward like a bullet. 

[color=ed1c24]Kinetic Durability[/color] - The inertia field gives Leo a small level of protection so he is always enhanced in this area. Once again, proper absorption of kinetic energy strengthens his body, toughening every part. By virtue of the body becoming tougher, he can survive in harsh conditions and extreme environments longer than the average human. 

[color=ed1c24]Kinetic Stamina/Endurance[/color] - Leo can fight for extended periods of time and stay awake to a superhuman degree as long as he has sufficiently absorbed kinetic energy. Pain tolerance and fatigue have a far higher threshold while energized. Part of the reason is that Leo is a tough fight.

His need to capture his brother by any means necessary feels Leo with purpose. This would lead some people to answer the call of a hero but Leo vehemently rejects the notion of heroics. While he believes in protecting innocents, he does not go out of his way to engage in heroism. And now the goal of his father's approval has slipped through his fingers.
