Personally, I try not to join anything big. I used to jump headfirst into massive roleplay forums where every character was in the same universe and could interact. Those tend to suck imo. I don't want a group bigger than five these days, any more than that, and it feels crowded and chaotic to me.

That said, I also don't like overbearing rules in my roleplays. Don't get me wrong, ground rules are important, and a firm gm/moderator is pivotal to keeping the peace. I am here to be creative and write my way, I hate when people try to shove me in a them shaped box.
