Etmere turned around when he heard the human of the greeting. Despite not being a mage, he was well-versed in the etiquette of the knights, well, the etiquette of a lot of people. It was thanks to all those books he was constantly reading. Besides all his essentials, it was probably the only other thing he kept in his bag at all times. Mainly empty books and writing utensils since he was more of a researcher, but it was amazing how much more of that he had than survival supplies. "Ah, yes." He said before giving the imperial salute back, though it was rough, it was also correct and a telltale sign that he didn't do it all that often. "Glory to his radiance. I am the mage you seek." He listened to her introduce herself and her statement. He just closed his eyes and gave a smile while running his hand through his hair. His hair, much like his skin, was as white as fresh fallen snow. A rarity among his people, and one of the few things he got complimented on by the people of the Imperium, even if it was for more passionate reasons in their minds. He gave a slight bow to lower himself slightly as he introduced himself. "My name is Etmere Zurbank. Mage of the Magical Tower. I specialize in research and support magic." He rose again, watching her carefully as he observed the person who would be his partner on this mission. It was unknown how long it would take, and he was more than convinced it was essentially a suicide mission. The fact that she got assigned to his mission made him wonder if she had angered someone within her order. Not that he really understood how they got promoted to a paladin, other than receiving a mission of some kind that they had to complete, that was all he knew. "I'm sure you were expecting a battle mage. Sorry about that. While I am not good at combat, you can rest assured that at least outside of combat, I will only serve as a boon to help you complete this task with the best obtainable results."
