I don't really have a plan set for my Adolphian, actually. For him, I'm at the very least having his main goal ultimately be to eventually challenge his mentor and defeat her in battle, but he certainly has a long way to go. He's by no means a weak trainer, but he's certainly not champion level. He'll use this opportunity to strengthen himself and his team, as well as use it as an excuse to explore beyond his homeland. Pokemon battling isn't as popular in Stahlblatt as it is in other regions, most folks tend to keep a few Pokemon on them just for protection. Heck, they don't even have anything equivalent to a Pokemon league. The closest thing they have is an annual meetup of trainers to showcase their Pokemon and exchange tips in how to raise them to their best potential. I can certainly see Adolphian taking interest in the whole gym challenge thing, if only to use it as a means of learning how to apply techniques used by other trainers in order to improve his own training. If he ends up becoming well known in the process... Well, that's the unfortunate side effect of his efforts.
