One of our common sayings is: why do things on easy when you can do them on hard? ;) That's a good question. And I like your plan for Elena. I can picture Maeve having to deal with a situation where she has to accept that she can't over analyze everything in her life. And coming to a point where she can grow beyond beating herself up over losses. Everyone loses sometimes, but we don't have to criticize ourselves and tear ourselves down because of it. I want her to be able to mature in that way. I'm not sure what else I imagine for her, but I can see her naturally falling into a teacher role, since part of her personality is the enjoyment of teaching others.
