[@PlatinumSkink] I think it's implied somewhere that most Wild Pokemon want to be caught on some level, hence why in the main games they always politely wait for you to send out your Pokemon instead of just going for the direct attack like they do in Legends. So if we go by that logic, then yes, I could see a wild Dhelmise letting itself be reeled in in the hopes that it's a nice trainer who will care for it and treat it well.

Also I wouldn't sweat it on the Trapinch thing. It's not that big of a deal.
