The old van rattled down the road, packed with camera equipment, snacks, and entirely too many people. Kimberly had been driving for three hours. Three. Hours. At this point she was one bad decision away from turning the vehicle around. A loud crash erupted somewhere behind her. Kimberly didn't even flinch. "Okay." A beat. "What happened?" Silence. Her eyes narrowed. "That was not reassuring silence." Another glance in the rearview mirror. "What. Happened." More silence. Kimberly sighed. The sigh of a woman who already knew she wasn't going to like the answer. "Is anyone bleeding?" A pause. "...Why are you all looking at each other?" The van drifted around a bend in the road. Kimberly tightened her grip on the steering wheel. "For love of all that is holy, if one of you broke something before we even got to haunted town, I'm leaving you in woods."
