"Long time no see." She muttered to him and chuckled softly, trying to get her mind off of the pain, and the liquid leaking down from her shoulder. Pain was nothing new, but there was so much else going on, and there was utter chaos, which felt apt. She was worried about Cassie, and she was glad that Connie was tending to her first. Her roommate, so kind, so tender... she was so glad that she knew her. She let out a cry as he pulled out the shard, and pressed harder on the wound to keep it from bleeding more at that point. She let out several pained breaths, as she watched as Barty threw some herbs into his mouth and started to chew. She was familiar with this kind of spell work, as her Tia had done a lot of herbal spell work in front of her, but not quite like this. Usually she had used a mortar and pastel but the moment didn't call for those. They didn't have the time. She hissed softly as the paste hit her bare skin and she looked at Barty. "Thank you....augh!" Something was wrong. It burned, and she could feel something fill her veins like it was trying to slither into her body. She gasped as Barty ripped the paste from her skin and hissed as something else was used to clean it quickly. It stung, but soon another paste replaced it and the bleeding was halted for the moment. At least she wouldn't lose anymore blood, there was that, even if the wound was still open... and something else was trying to harm her from within. As Connie came over to her, she had to chuckle a bit. "Hey... Connie. Is Cassie going to be alright?" She whispered softly as she looked at her and leaned more against the couch. She watched as she worked with Barty, and closed her eyes, and bit her lip softly. She halted her breath as instructed and could feel the stuff within her veins start to dissipate. She let out a sigh and then gasped as the wound refused to close. Was... was she just going to have an open wound forever. She looked around in worry until... "What the... Jake?" The savior of the day was not really the one she had expected. Luna's wings fluttered rapidly as he went translucent, and a tendril of magic appeared out of the ground, and then the wound transferred from her to the tendril before it slipped back between the boards. "...Well then... thank you. Uh... does anyone need help? Or do we need to still go hunting?"
