Fortunately, there was time for those attending to share what intel they found, so they were not going in completely blind. Vicky made sure to mention that there was a good chance of everyone being split up on arrival. Hopefully people would prepare accordingly. She also got to talk to Sabine about the thing she wanted the psion to do. Although as soon as Vicky started to think what that was, she found that she could not remember. When the android inquired, Sabine informed her that they already had that conversation, it was done, and it was by Victoria's own request that Sabine erased the memory. That alone was enough to stop Victoria from analyzing how Sabine's powers impacted her hardware, despite her curiosity about it. Once the group dispersed, Victoria went back to the workshop to do her own preparations. She eyeballed the bag she used to carry back when she was pretending to be human, and decided that it would be woefully inadequate. Instead, she dusted off the hardened box she used during the qualifiers. A bit of bending sheet metal later, she welded a console to the bottom of it what would allow her to hook it to the upper back of her armor. Testing the fit and being relatively happy with the range of motion left to her, she set the box down and started thinking about what to bring. A lot came to mind. Too much. Okay, prioritize. What's the worst case here? It's not beig alone, it's actually having dependents. At that thought, the rations and the first aid kit were moved from her bag to the box. Water. Fleshbags need water. The first thought was to bring some canteens, however, everyone sensible should already be bringing their own. What they needed was a way to refill, especially if part of the group got separated from April. A bit more fabrication later, Vicky had a water filter that could be used to get water from natural sources to a potable state. Nothing she could do agains stuff like heavy metals, but hopefully a magical realm wouldn't be dumping copious amount of industrial waste into their rivers. Okay. Water and food to last some time. Something to patch the others with. I'm the power bank and firestarter for whoever gets left with me. That should do for hopefully long enough. Now, what do I need? In the end, Victoria made the decision that her armor was a bonus, not a necessity, and if it got damaged to the point of no use, she could do without. She needed to think of maintaining her chassis, as if her arm was disabled, it would be useless, armored or not. And while the rest of them could probably find decent enough doctor equivalent in the Otherworld, accordih to Luna, a mechanic capable of servicing her chassis would be much rarer. By the time she was happy with her selection of tools and spare parts, the sun was already up. After a brief detour to the convenience store to pick up a few bulbs of garlic to distribute among the group, she put the armor on, and swung by the dorm to pick up a few changes of clothes. As she was getting ready to leave, her eyes landed on something she has not thought of for a while. You know what? Why not. If nothing else, I may be able to pawn you for something actually useful. she thought as she took the viking shield Agatha gave her, hooking it to her arm.
She came upon the gathering group, tossing a bulb of garlic to each of them. "Mornin'. Keep those on you, especially while sleeping." she said as she unhooked the storage module from her back and set it down for now. She moved to get a closer look at the fairy ring, before looking at Percy. "From what I gathered, it doesn't care what you want. It will send you where 'the story' needs you to be, whether that's exactly where you want to be, or completely alone and in peril." A momentary, but intense pamg of annoyance shot through her mind. Weren't they doing this to save his sorry ass? How is half of the group doing better job preparing for this? She walked back before she could say something that woupd blow up emotions again, and sat down next to the box, idly trying to juggle the garlic bulbs while she waited on others to arrive and she could give out the rest.
