It was quaint, and personable, filled with the mish mash that was always found at the front. She had longed to be invited to such gathering before, but she had been something of a vagabond since she joined the Federation. Not to mention her other complications in regards to making strong connections. Still, there was always one thing that would dominate her mind if given the opportunity, and here with comrades and relaxation, Rhylaen’s question was the one to bring it to the fore. Her love of Framewerk. “That should be rather simple.” She would say thinking over the conundrum. She carved free a small morsel of her steak as let ideas percolate. “Though it will depend on how the jamming signal is deployed for Dragonfly, but first thought is a signal dish. That way there is some direction for you to aim the signal.” “Two ideas for that are a custom attachment to the Marker light. Though you might have to give up one of its firing modes to fit the dish.” She would go on, absently sketching out a crude blueprint in the sauce on her plate. “The other option is altering their wings. The generators that produce and maintain the energy fields should be able to be modified so that they can produce a tight frequency emission.” She would mull over the rough designs on her plate for a moment before shrugging herself back to the moment. “That might interfere with the stability of the barrier field though. And I doubt you’d be able to have both applications running in tandem.” [@shylarah] Just then Rhylaen would hear a rather familiar sound. Auroa’s PAD would let out a soft chiming alert. Aurora would be sure to wipe her hands off before retrieving her communications device. She had muted it for the next few hours, but there were a few things set to override that setting. Aurora would notice the message in her email, and despite her curiosity she would ignore it for now. It wasn’t what had bypassed the mute. It was a warning, a self-set one.
‘Ava Lane, Corporal and Squad leader, Argent Wings’
Attached was a ID photo of a redheaded woman. Aurora wouldn’t comment. But would look up in time to see the very same woman walk into the cafeteria. She would nod to herself as she tucked her PAD away once more. “No need for apologies Corporal Lane, you have not missed much.” Aurora would say in response and greeting. Her gaze only dipped to the side for a moment when Shiva’s Pilot arrived as well, but bounced back to Ava swiftly. “Please, have a seat. Monsieur Duval’s cooking is very good.” [@Randomguy]
