She found herself promptly back amomg the other protectors, narrowly evading strikes and slashing claws from the nearest cryptdweller as she did so. With a modest gap between herself and the beast, she returned her blade to its sheath in preparation for another offensive of her own. She had just assured her hand upon the hilt when a voice called to her from behind.[/indent]

[indent]She did as told, squatting under the lashing strand as it struck the monster. With the one occupied, Kaitori sidestepped to its side and away from the chasm. The shift placed her in the path one of the pair behind her. Once again exercising her patience, she permited her adversary to close the distance. Then, in a sharp, hastened movement, the [color=92278f]steel of her blade streaked out from it sheath[/color], cutting to the second beast's center mass. Following through from her swordplay, she cut a second swing, unleashing a [color=92278f]Bladewave[/color] against the approach of the third.[/indent]
