They made love once more before they fell asleep, and after they awoke, they made love again. Laughter and soft sighs filled their room, but even they knew they could not do this forever. The body had other desires, and after another dip in the tub, they got dressed in their disheveled clothing from the previous night, for they brought no other apparel, and went to enjoy a late breakfast. Malcador and Emmaline found the common room full of patrons, many finishing their morning meals and simply enjoying a talk of what lay ahead in the day. The two lovers ordered only water, having enjoyed enough alcohol and sweated out more than enough to warrant the order, but they gathered a hearty breakfast of eggs, bread, and grapes. It wasn't particularly well cooked, it needed more salt, but to Malcador it was the best meal he ever had. The two of them exchanged looks and smiles, idly commenting on the breakfast and the state of their dress or hair, Emmaline giggling as Malcador made a jape at the expense of the establishment, despite the Embrace's deserved stellar reputation. Malcador and Emmaline shared another kiss, Emmaline nearly falling out of her chair from her excitement. Except she opened her eyes in a small peek, and then both popped open before she pulled back. "Shizz! Jascynde!" She gasped in horror, and Malcador's expression went from surprised to bemused. "Huh?" Emmaline did not elaborate, instead she grabbed Malcador's head and shoved it down into her lap. He tried to rise again, but Emmaline's hands shoved downward again, effectively getting him to hit his head on the table. "Ow! Hey!" "Shut up!" She told him, and his obedience being drilled into him from the night before was the only thing that kept him down as a dark haired slip of a woman walked up to Emmaline, a member of the jade college she had known during their early apprenticeships, when the classes were communal and tutelage was not under single masters. Emmaline's face bloomed into a smile, ever the actress. "Jas! What are you doing here?" "Oh, bit of this, bit of that." Jascynde said, waving her hand flippantly. "Had a date that didn't pan out so I crashed here for the night for the bath." The jade witch shrugged, but smiled. "I did not expect you here, of all people. Mind if I sit down?"
