[@StarfrostedFox] that's so cute, glad to hear you all have something in common. Pokemon breaks down boundaries! I'm glad you like Fynn, I can't wait to have him interact with some of the other pokemon. 

I picked Gyrados because I think he represents the sort of underdog vibe of Elena. Starts out floundering and practically useless but through a little more hard work and struggles than others it can become something very powerful! 

Gyrados is also just a consistently decent pokemon. Intimidate, decent stats and dragon dance makes you pretty scary.
