Each stack increases damage taken by the target by 2%. to a total of 20%, and attacking refreshes the debuff, but all stacks are dispelled at once after 8 seconds of the target not being attacked or being dispelled. Attacks must do damage to apply stacks and only one stack can be applied per attack instance. DoT damage does not apply or refresh stacks. Malice can be stacked by Illusions. Varian's Legacy: Blazermate now has a medium to long ranged holy projectle basic attack. Every attack Blazermate lands leaves a low damage Holy element DoT that burns over 3 seconds. Blazermate is healed for half the damage dealt by this DoT but the damage from the DoT can not proc any other effect. (The heal it gives to Blazermate can though) Illusions can apply Varian's Legacy. [/hider] Something about what her and Roxas had just gone through with that creature wasn't sitting right with Blazermate. Like... was that the boss they encountered or something? It was simple, but it hit hard. And if it wasn't for Roxas having his light magic things would be really annoying when dealing with that thing but at least they got away and reunited with the group. Sectonia seemed to have one of the better experiences in the cold dark compared to everyone else, but since she carried herself with proper grace that didn't help matters much when others suffered a lot more in that cold dark than her. As they made it to the summit of the mountain, Blazermate made sure to heal up everyone and herself so they could be ready for what was to come. And well... eventually her and Sectonia and slowly everyone else noticed the eyes in the dark that stared at them and as Mokou used her flames to light what seemed to be something that looked like a sculpt of the sun? This lead to it illuminating the area, and those eyes that had been seen earlier showed themselves as a large masked creature. Being revealed from its hiding spot, the creature attacked with some basic attacks at first. Although considering the size of it, even basic attacks were quite large. Blazermate and Sectonia could dodge the ground spikes by virtue of just flying, but the crimson orbs were different. Blazermate had the agility to dodge them, but Sectonia took one eating through a fair amount of her overheal from Blazermate. Blazermate moved around the battlefield, healing people. She then felt a bit of light within herself well up and as it felt like a medaforce beam she pointed it at the Man in the Moon, firing a holy bullet at him with roughly the same damage potential as her own fist. This attack left a holy burning pitch on the boss, and Blazermate felt some healing coming her way. Meanwhile a slight swirl of crimson darkness appeared around the boss, almost imperceptible due to its own powers over darkness. With the size of this creature, her Divine Stars were easy to land, and they seemed to refresh the holy burn and intensify the darkness swirl if only a little. Whatever her and Roxas had dealt with seemed to be something both of her spirits resonated with in their own way lending her more power. Additionally it seemed when a hand was hit, it would also have a bit of burning holy fire upon it, but these fires did not burn for long. But the neat thing was that Blazermate could finally attack from range, although it didn't seem to give her any Ubercharge like her punches with the ubersaw. Sectonia meanwhile had an urge to banish the Darkness and darkness emitting creatures that were trying to encroach upon Mokou and her fire. And much like the sun Mokou was fueling, Sectonia illuminated herself in bright light and began to focus entirely on the Darkness and its minions. First to spite the darkness from its goal, Sectonia summoned and surrounded Mokou in her red and gold Antlers to offer her protection from the various shadow creatures. Then with the darkness' goal rebuffed Sectonia unleashed rains of holy swords but more importantly, large blasts of light lasers all around her. She'd make the darkness regret showing its ugly face and keep it back as best as she could so the others could deal with the masked creature they came for.
