At first glance the only thing that stands out to me is that the ambush won’t necessarily take place around the Tilverton area.  I’ve deliberately not mentioned where that takes place as that will come out during the game itself and your characters might not remember where they were before the attack ;).

It would be better if players didn’t have their characters come from Tilverton for story reasons.

Outwith that looks good to me.
