[@StarfrostedFox] I still have my old Gamebody Advanced and Pokemon Green, Emerald, and Ruby, and some older games for the DSi and 3DS, but once I finish a game I typically... Never ever touch them again. I crave novelty. Once I've experienced something once, it largely loses its appeal to me.

Also, Pokemon contests were actually pretty big for me. I rarely actually understood what I was supposed to be doing, but my Pokémon used cool moves and I got hearts, and eventually a badge of sorts I could show off. One of my ultimate goals when I was younger was to get EVERY BADGE in each game on one pokemon, that being my beloved max IVs Rayquaza. Unfortunately, Pokemon Bank is gone now, so there's no way to transfer Rayquaza back into previous generations.
