Ah Sprocket. Robots were cool, but there was just something about a central authority that rubbed everything about Sammy the wrong way. The cat, the showgirl, and the poor girl all agreed it felt off. And like, yeah it was cool they were keeping people safe right now, but the cordon also made it hard for her to do anything. They'd let her through as an Aristeia! player (especially if she explained herself to them, but jesus fuck come on). But Kraken was obviously going to clock anybody who just waltzed through the robot cordon. So much for the hat. Problem two. Kraken used a limiter. So the number and power of the tentacles here was going to be overwhelming compared to what was possible in the arena. Maybe that made this hard mode, but it also made it difficult to read. Sammy needed to know something about the flexibility here. Was arena Kraken going to have fewer tentacles of the same strength or similar numbers with weaker power? Or worse, could she shift on the fly? That was the worst case, so it made sense to see if that could be determined now. Of course, the other thing that was going to be helpful was figuring out what the deal was with the tentacles themselves, how solid they were, what made them solid, how they could be interacted with. So...be cute huh? Fine, fuck it fine. Sammy walked around the perimeter of the park, outside the dakinis, and picked a bundle of Nasturium flowers. Well known as weeds that anybody could pick, despite their relatively nice oranges and yellows. Then she tapped a dakini on the shoulder. "Sorry, can I go in? I have an appointment here, you see." She held up her message from Kraken long enough for it to get a shot and then squeezed by it and went straight up to the first shadow tentacle there was, looking carefully at how it was waving, and then doffed her hat and smiled. "Hi, these are for you!" she said as she offered it a bouquet of flowers. She remained on the balls of her feet the whole while in case an urgent dodge was necessary. This was either gonna be really cool or so cringe. But...Creek would probably think it was cute, so there was that at least.
