However, once someone gets to know her, she's a sweet person who's willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She's compassionate and is easily able to get along with just about anyone she meets. On the other hand, Ava has the ability to lash out if the right buttons are pushed, although one has to go out of their way to get her to that breaking point. Short Bio: Born and raised in upstate New York but moved to the west coast at the age of 10 with her family. Ava has an older brother who's five years her senior. Just before her 12th birthday, both of her parents were tragically killed in a car accident while her and her brother were home. Subsequently, both kids were sent off to live with their aunt; a life that neither of them wanted even if the alternative was being sent off to a foster home. A few months later, Andrew, her brother, was kicked out of their aunt's house once he turned 18. Neither of them took it very well, and Andrew struggled to survive. Ripped from one of the pages of the book of stereotypes, Andrew involved himself with the wrong crowd and soon enough found himself dealing—among other things—in order to get by. There were a handful of times that Ava participated in said dealings after she lied to let her join him. Ava claimed she was being abused by her aunt's new boyfriend, but in reality, she wanted to make sure her brother was okay. The last time they saw each other, he was hauled off to jail for resisting and assaulting a cop. He left her all his money and told her to move into his apartment for the time being. Ava did exactly that, and soon enough started getting threats at home; threats originally meant for Andrew but now involving her as well.
