Alternatively just put the skillet or plate into the fire to heat up and then place them on the stone outside the fireplaces and put the bread on top of the heated metal, should work too” She added in relation to Lizbet’s request for toasts. You couldn’t after all put the bread slices directly into the fire to get good toast. “Olive oil is a fine cooking ingredient, but would it fit toasts? That would be interesting to see! I do like olives. She asked in mild curiosity as she was trying to finish the pie so she could put it to bake. It wasn’t going to have traditional pie appearance… She thought, but it was going to follow the spirit of the pie! And in cooking the spirit of the food was more important than the appearance of the food! Well a proper cook might disapprove, but hey Kosara had the kitchen tonight and Kosara was gonna do what she wanted to do! Before long the warrior woman stormed back out of the storage room, leaving Kosara alone in the kitchen proper once more. The dancer eyerolloed and did a little pout, leaving the pie to grab the final bits of ingredients she hadn’t pulled close enough before returnign to it. Two different parts of jam, dried fruits, sweet dough and now to carefully put a layer or two of dough on top of it. It was going to be a mix of a pie and a cupcake in taste and texture if she had gotten her recipes right! She hummed happily having almost finished her task. Hearing Lizbet’s exclamation from the taproom, Kosara poked her head through the doorway.” Don’t overdo it and leave some hunger for the dinner proper!” She warned jovially, returning back to the kitchen. Since there wasn’t a stove here, she was going to use two skillet pans to keep the pie from meeting open flame and to distribute the heat inside and maybe once also turning it over, but she’d see if that was needed after. So she put the skillets on to stat baking the thing at the fireplace. “Pie’s baking!” She cheerfully quipped as she rejoined the other two in the taproom, still covered in flower up to the elbows and white floury nose.” Ohh? That sounds like a nice clue to start investigating, but carefully!” She agreed and nodded, pulling a rag to start cleaning some of the flour off her hands, but not cleaning her face from the white spots mostly because she had no idea they were there!
