Smugness as Tim failed to realize what her clever plan was, then panic as she realized that the spell wasn't moving her as fast as she'd hoped. Relief at unexpectedly teleporting free, then panic again as the feeling of her safety net being gone settled in. Elation at succeeding in her attempt to get at the controls, then confusion at the scheme, which in turn blended with ever more panic as the ship began to lurch and spin at her touch. After thoroughly fucking everything up even moreso than that one time while she was still learning to drive, Rika elected to acknowledge that the FAA would probably not like an unlicensed pilot doing stunts in a very much unregistered aircraft within city limits. Or was this a highway patrol thing, since spaceships were sorta like cars for aliens? The errant thought only served as a brief distraction from the ship starting to disintegrate in the ocean. "Tim" turning into a giant octupus was also wild, but honestly shit had been so weird up to this point that it barely fazed her. "Don't look at me like that, you're the one that tried to kidnap people from the place made of 70% water in a ship that dissolves in the stuff," she said, before considering her options. On the one hand, there was a freaky purple octopus date rapist, and her weird teleporty safety net seemed to be gone, not to mention that being literally on a sinking ship was not known to be notably safe. On the other hand, it sounded like a bunch of people were probably also still on the ship, and she was probably a stronger swimmer than most of them. . . and it was sorta her fault they were now at risk of drowning. "Ah, fuck it, I'm a cool dragon, I'll be fine." Rika got up from the controls (careful to not touch anything that had previously produced a reaction,) then pushed through what was rapidly turning into ship wreckage. "Anyone still in here?" she called out, hoping to either coordinate with the others or find someone who might be trapped. In the former case, she'd lend a hand with whatever they were up to, and in the latter case, she'd try to get them free.
