Miharu Agawa
What a lively, lively group this all was. As it stood, Miharu could hardly keep track of even half the conversations going on around them until Professor Camphor deigned to appear before them all at last. And she...well. At least the Professor acted consistently the same in-person as she had online. That was something, right? There wouldn't be time to prepare tea now, as she'd been hoping to volunteer to, but moving along with the basics of finishing up at the lab would be good. She supposed she shouldn't have been surprised that a good half of the new hires hadn't brought their own Pokemon, and were being provided them by the lab. That was how many beginning Trainers did things, wasn't it? Hiddy let an exuberant ook loose as they moved along, returning to his usual space off Miharu's shoulder while Camphor spoke. Oddly specific rules, but she supposed that made sense in a laboratory environment. And were Pokemon labs supposed to be quite this large? Counting the admittedly very impressive underground habitat, one might as well dub this an entire compound instead. Miharu took a moment to marvel at Habitat A. Truly, it was impressive how much the staff here had managed to replicate the outdoors while underground. For his part, Hiddy seemed to think so as well, looking around cheerily at the sight of the underground forest. It passed muster with him, evidently. As Camphor demanded to inspect the Pokemon of those who'd brought them along, Miharu found no reason to object. Unlike most of Camphor's demeanor, this was a sensible request. "Go on, Hiddy." She gestured the Mankey forward towards Camphor, who reluctantly obliged. He leapt off Miharu's shoulder, trodding up to the Professor and...glaring at her. Ah, right. He'd gotten the gist of her video response. How heartening to see her partner so willing to be offended on her behalf! But best not to rock the boat too badly to begin with. "And please, continue behaving. No bullying the poor Professor, now~" If that was said with just the barest-detectable hint of condescension in Camphor's direction, well. It wasn't her fault her ever-dependable Mankey had taken it upon his own initiative to be annoyed on her behalf, no? While Camphor proceeded to do whatever it was she was going to, Miharu looked around once more. Evidently, Hazel was already deemed to get her own Impidimp. How wonderful! After seeing the little gremlins for herself, Miharu decided that she'd quite like to add one to her own budding team. But it wasn't likely she'd be allowed to simply take one from the lab. Perhaps out in the wild? Thoughts for later.
