Abandoned Atrium. Ravenbrook, New York
With a mounting trail of unconscious sentries laying behind her, Sarah cleared her path into the old Atrium. She was quickly, and methodically breaking through to the heart of Weeping Willow's operation. She admitted to herself that she was let down by how easily the guards fell; she had hoped for something more than scrubs to beat down. Baker... you better not have lied about this. As if answering her desires, something in the sky caught her attention, but prompted her to duck for cover. Stowed in a new hiding spot beneath an awning, she looked overhead as the silouhette of a formidable man flew past her and into the the building. She wondered, whether or not he was one of the Guardians, while contemplating how she'd fight him if he was in league with Willow. She would have tried then and there, but knew she'd have too much explaining to do if she went challenging those she was supposed to be allied with. The man remaind seemingly oblivious to her as he made his way into the Atrium. Sarah tracked his path on foot, and worked her way around the space to another side, where she climbed her way to high vantage point atop a stack of shipping containers. She edged around and held against the side of one of the containers, peaking around in time witness the flying man being ejected from the back of a van; the energy emanating from the vehicle evoked thoughts of her own power, though she wasn't sure how similar it was. All she was sure of then was that the flyer was part of her new crew, as the man responsible for the energy blast rallied the guards to fight off the intrusion. Sarah's face lit up with anticipation. Her eyes flared with the fire of a a person about to be in their element. She slung the firearm she had stolen across her back, and stretched her body like someone just waking up from their bed. "Perfect," she said to herself; the stealth and sneaking had been getting old fast. She proceded out from her cover, energy coursing through her veins, collecting into both arms as she entered into a horse stance. Raising her hands she aimed her open palms at the squad of guards as they rained gunfire on the intruding heroes. A wave of Chi, with greater mass and force than than the one that had knocked out the lone sentry, projected a crash course toward the gunmen. After recoiling slightly from her blast, Sarah cut to her right and dropped from the container, sliding down the door and falling smoothly to the ground. She brandished the stolen gun, and, swallowing her pride, fired a volley to cover herself as she ran to meet the man entangled in the scaffolding. "Go! Do what you gotta do. I'll cover you."
