[cell][color=silver][color=BC1653][b]Personality:[/b][/color] Appears prickly and has an RBF, making her intimidating to approach. Confident and not afraid to speak her mind, but not unkind or a total bitch. Intervenes when she doesn't feel like something is right, and a fierce ally to those that she's close to. She can be quick to act, rather than think things through first. However, she's also competitive, striving to always exceed expectations and succeed in whatever she does, but it also means she struggles a lot to the point of panic with failure. Kaliope is also honest. With very little exception, you can count on her to tell you the truth, even if it's not something you want to hear, nor if it's particularly tactful. On the other side of this, though, you know her praise and any positive comments are genuine. As mentioned, there are very few exceptions, such as her sexuality and the pressure she secretly feels to excel, to her honesty.

[color=BC1653][b]Short Bio:[/b][/color] Born and raised in Belmont Heights, Kaliope hasn't really explored much of the world outside of California, aside from expensive resort vacations every year. There hasn't been anything she's really gone out to explore on her own. Her mother, Katrina Starling, was a model, and often reminds Kaliope that she herself was a very successful, award winning head cheerleader when she was in school, as well as Homecoming and Prom queen. Something that she expects Kaliope to follow in her footsteps in, and is less concerned with her academics.
Meanwhile, her father, Ashton Starling, is a highly paid corporate lawyer that makes sure his family has the best. He has less in terms of expectations for Kaliope to follow a certain path, but he does make sure that she is keeping her grades up and not failing.

Kaliope is both academic and athletic, balancing the two carefully as she enjoys both. Maths and Physics have been her favourite core subjects, and she has been head cheerleader since her Junior year. She is also part of the girls swimming team.
Outside of school, she loves to rollerskate too, and can sometimes be found at the skate park or skating around Belmont Heights and Belmont Shore. This, however, does come at the quiet disapproval of both her parents, but they reckon she'll 'grow out of it' by the time she graduates Harbor Crest. Hopefully sooner.
