Even when solid, can give off the impression they may blow away at any moment. Maze Runner - character has ran for their life in a confusing and trying place and situation. Character is more likely to perform better in confusing settings in the future where passive senses are not sufficient for getting through something under pressure. Comrade - character has proved themselves to be a good ally and approachable. Character will have easier time convincing others to team up with their cause or to allow her to join theirs. More likely to join a cause that isn't worth joining too, however. Champion of The West- Character has been named a Champion of the Eastern Empire, imbued the strength of the earth. Champions are fierce defenders of the Eastern Empire, called upon in times of need to fight for the survival and honor of their people. Though not as rare as Heroes, Champions hold great respect and admiration among their kin, and their strength, that of a crashing wave, is a beacon of hope in times of conflict. - Champions are bound by duty to protect the Eastern Empire, especially when their elemental strength is needed in battle. They are drawn to conflicts where their powers are most potent and are known for their fierce resilience and ability to turn the tide of battle. While not invincible, a Champion's fall is a grave loss for the Eastern Empire, for their strength weakens with their absence. - Champions have limited sway over fate, but when they fight for their people, their presence is enough to inspire courage and unity in those around them. - The Eastern Empire honors their Champions, granting them freedom to come and go, and providing for them in times of peace. In turn, the Champions are expected to rise whenever their people call, answering the summons of battle with the fire that burns within them

It was a muggy day in Ryke. The forest trapped the humid air betwixt its arboreal spires but softened the blow by shading one from the sun. The many trunks and branches also blocked out the wind that tried to blow mightily but was reduced to brief gusts here and there amidst the wooden mesh. There was only one thing to do on a day like today: swim. A small child with tousled, blonde hair scurried anxiously through the unkempt grass and brush that grew along the forest floor. Not far behind him were a man and woman that stalked cautiously in his wake. Though they seemed uncomfortable, it was a special day today: the boy was now five years old. "Don't get too far ahead." called the woman in a soft, somewhat choked voice as though the noise of it were a danger. "Watch that you don't trip." added the man in a similarly cautious voice. As any excited child might, Jareth barely regarded his parents' warnings. The pond wasn't too much farther, and it wasn't everyday that his parents let him swim. He wasn't sure why they were always insistent on being quiet and only going out at certain times of day. He just wanted to play! Faster and faster his tiny legs scrambled through the underbrush. A small hand swatted a leafy branch out of the way. A pair of scrawny legs jumped over a tall root. A gasp escaped him as he caught sight of the large rock that loomed over the pond. "There it is!" he cried with an elated giggle. He turned to call over his shoulder, "We're almost the--" Jareth's foot unexpectedly hooked into a root. He immediately faceplanted mid-sentence. Everything went black. A disappointed voice echoed somewhere in the darkness. "Told you not to trip...."
Among the heap of surface junk that trickled down into that crystalline abyss, a small pile of off white powder found its way to ground. It seemed to have a mind of its own as it slithered through the heap, gathering various deposits of its kin along the way. Eventually enough material had gathered that it began to take a small, yet familiar, shape. A humanoid shape emerged from the pile as Jareth finally reformed. His hand raised to his face, rubbing it out of habit rather than any physical sensation. The sandman felt different somehow, but couldn't put his finger on it quite yet. Pained cries from the opposite side of the pile drew his attention as he wandered around. Before he could find its source, however, he spotted Michael, looking paler than usual. Jareth quickly ran to him and was met with a peculiar observation. "Wow, you got big...." Jareth marvelled as he, standing upright, found himself to be the same height as Michael in a kneeling position. "Hm...." Jareth's eyes looked down at his hands, and his now naked form. "I see." Was the only thing he could say at the realization that he had somehow shrunk by a couple feet. "Be right back." Jareth went over to the pile of junk and flung open a half-broken chest that had dropped in. With a tiny jump, Jareth's white buns and legs kicked into the air as he rummaged around inside. Tossing out various articles of clothing, he dug around until he found something suitable. Emerging from the chest (with a slight struggle), he draped himself in a makeshift, tattered robe and pants. Returning to Michael, Jareth looked him up and down. "You aren't blue anymore." he stated simply.
