[color=orange]”Whoa…”[/color] Whatever conversations were going on in the waiting area, they were interrupted when the Professor herself finally appeared and invited them all into Habitat A. Jack went along like everyone else, and the sight of Habitat A left him practically speechless and gawking.

[color=orange]”Wish I had something like this place at home…”[/color] He murmured to himself, his eyes instinctively trying to spot any Pokemon living in the Habitat. He wasn’t here to catch a partner, since he had one of his own, but that didn’t mean Jack wasn’t still interested in seeing more Pokemon up close. Actually, he almost missed the Professor’s request for everyone who already had a partner to go ahead and release them so she could see them.

[color=orange]”Oh! Right!”[/color] Jack said as he suddenly snapped out of it and retrieved the occupied Poke Ball from his belt. [color=orange]”Wait time’s over, bud, you can finally come out now!”[/color] He casually dropped the ball and let it release Sparkplug, who stretched his muscles in an overly exaggerated manner with a grin on his little face.

[color=orange]”Oh come on, you weren’t waiting for [i]that[/i] long.”[/color] Jack said with an eyeroll at Sparkplug’s antics, [color=orange]”Anyway, the Professor asked to see you and then after that she said you can play around a bit. Now c’mon!”[/color] The two walked a few steps toward where the Professor stood and then Jack suddenly nudged Sparkplug forward with his foot.

[color=orange]”Here’s my partner, Professor!”[/color] Jack said, [color=orange]”You wanted to see him, right? His name’s Sparkplug. Oh, and if he tries to zap you, you have my permission to give him a good smack as punishment.”[/color] That got a little indignant huff from the Elekid, but the Pokemon curiously looked up at Professor Camphor nonetheless.

[color=orange]”It’s just like I wrote in my application.”[/color] Jack explained, [color=orange]”Caught him up in Giants Watch trying to feed off the electricity of the mining equipment. Took me quite a while to get him to warm up to me, but I won him over in the end.”[/color]

And then Jack proceeded to be immediately distracted by the appearance of the big Onix nearby. [color=orange]”Whoa whoa WHOA! Is that an Onix?”[/color] He asked excitedly, [color=orange]”Way cool! I’ve only ever caught glimpses of them in the deeper parts of the cave systems in Giants Watch. They look even bigger up close!”[/color]
