"But the Inventory comes to me in a less...traditional way." The changeling stepped back, revealing even more shelves of oddities. Jars of eyes and claws and feathers, clinking gadgets without a clear use, and preserved plants of various toxin levels crowded together in the soft light of the shop. "All of these things come to me," she explained. "They appear here, sometimes on their own and sometimes along with a visitor. But always with a story." The magic of the place sparkled in the woman's voice, a fondness for her craft. "In fact, this one just appeared today." The woman turned and plucked a cloudy potion jar from the shelf and set it down unceremoniously in front of the halfling. There was a spot of clarity where one of her fingers had touched the glass, but the rest of the contents remained shadowed. "I haven't looked inside yet," the woman said. "Would you like to do the honors?"
