Hi! I was lurking for a while but felt like I should announce my interest with at least a finished first concept. I saw you were shopping for a speedster, so here we go;

Vivienne "Vivi" Vance (The Comet)
Archetype(s) The Flash, Wonderman, Hellcat, Susan Storm. Name Vivienne ‘Vivi’ Vance Alias The Comet Age 23 Powers, Skills, & Equipment

Kinetic Velocity: Vivi can move, think, and react at superhuman speeds. Her friction-redirection allows her to run up vertical surfaces and across open water without burning up.
Energy Manipulation: The same energy that enables her to be as fast as she is allows her some control of the electromagnetic spectrum itself, something that she is only at the very early stages of being able to control and manipulate. This mostly manifests in sparks of power that surge around her when using her powers consistently, but can interfere directly with electronic devices. As she gains more experience she will be able to manipulate energy fields more directly.
Acrobatics & Stage Combat: Trained exhaustively in dance, Hollywood choreography, and other performing arts this provides her with an uncommon dexterity and agility even aside from her powers.
Equipment: A customized, lightweight silk-blend aviator jumpsuit designed to withstand high-velocity wind friction. She has a matching helmet and mask-goggles, although she often ‘forgets’ to wear the former.
Weaknesses

Untapped Potential: Vivi is in simple terms, quite new to this. Her powers manifested only erratically and the initial pressure to hide this significantly hindered the amount of time she has even tried to practice and explore her abilities. Given the nature of her powers, this can make her prone to accidents which are rather on the destructive side when moving at the speeds she can reach.
Caloric Burn: Her super-speed metabolism requires her to consume (relatively) massive amounts of food to maintain energy, or risk sudden physical exhaustion.
The Silver Screen Legacy: Her famous Hollywood family name makes her instantly recognizable if she unmasks, posing massive risks from both the press and Nazi agents looking for leverage. Her family are, to put it mildly, unsupportive of her more recent actions and may themselves act to put a halt to her ‘career’ as The Comet. Notable, the original Vance family name was Vandeberg, which while changed long before recent conflicts, could arise as a somewhat unfortunate piece of family history.
Personality Charming, fiercely protective, diplomatic and quick-witted. Unlike the more serious of heroes, Vivi approaches heroics with the poise of a silver-screen starlet and the warm, nurturing heart of a team anchor. She prefers defusing tension with a clever quip, but when her friends or innocents are threatened, she can quickly become a rather threatening prospect. She is, however, undeniably sheltered and not well adjusted to hardship. Despite generally being a compassionate person she is not above using her powers to maintain her preferred comforts and has a spoiled side to her. Experience 6 months as a costumed hero Appearance Standing at five feet and seven inches, Vivienne cuts a striking, cinematic figure reminiscent of the silver screen's reigning starlets. Waves of platinum-blonde hair, styled in immaculate finger waves and soft pin curls, frame a heart-shaped face accented by high cheekbones. Her physical build defies the typical lean silhouette of earlier starlets, while she maintains a slender, athletic foundation, she carries a more curvaceous, if pear shaped form. Her hero attire is a tailored, sleeveless jumpsuit rendered in rich scarlet and polished gold. The fabric consists of a reinforced, lightweight silk-blend aviator material engineered to provide minimal high-velocity wind friction. Gold edging traces her silhouette, matching the gleaming golden belt strapped low across her midsection. She wears tall, flat-soled crimson boots accompanied by a matching domino mask and pilot goggles that frame her eyes. While the matching protective helmet sits neatly in her dressing room, Vivi habitually leaves it behind, preferring to let her signature blonde waves billow wildly behind her whenever she streaks across the horizon. Brief Bio Born into Hollywood royalty during the silent film era, the Vance family defined the dawn of cinema through their pioneering studio and legendary acting credits. Vivi grew up under studio lights and premier parties, trained to be the next great American sweetheart. Victor Vance, head of the family, was unusually keen on his family both following him into the business but also having a greater and wider understanding of the industry and the art of being an actor than most. Not for him, or his children, the easy way. They would do their own stunts, dance their own steps and know the family business. Vivi was born the youngest of three siblings, with two older brothers, she was practically predetermined to be the treasured starlet of the family and while her father certainly continued his trend of hard work, there’s no doubt she grew up more protected than her brothers, born into the wealth and success that the rest of her family were old enough to remember the lack of. Despite this, even when she was young, the beginnings of Vivi’s powers began to manifest. She was almost supernaturally accomplished at acts of speed and dexterity while learning the art of a Hollywood performer, would occasionally seem to appear from one end of the family home to the other in the blink of an eye. One time when visiting one of her father’s productions every camera on set shorted out. Her parents were quick to recognise that ‘she’ was the issue even if they did not understand why and began to both cover up incidents as well as impressing upon their daughter that anything that made her appear so different was something to conceal. The Vance family were beacons of the American dream, they had to appear to be normal Americans. The facade would finally crumble when a soiree hosted for fundraising on behalf of the CRC (The Community Relations Committee) was attacked by supposed agents of The Laughing Skull. Vivi was entirely unable to simply escape with her family, and instead photographs of a blurred impression rescuing guests from fires hit the LA papers. Since then, Vivi has not been seen in public with the rest of the Vance family and ‘The Comet’ has become one of many heroes active within the United States. Potential Storylines

The Starlet’s Secret: Balancing her public identity as a Hollywood heiress with her secret life.
Hard Light, Fast Feet: Learning to combine her velocity with the other, largely unknown, aspects of her power.
The Hollywood Backlot: Encounters with old studio executives, rivals, or hidden Nazi agents attempting to infiltrate the American entertainment industry for espionage.
Two Truths And A Lie: The Vance family emigrated while Victor Vance was still young, but at the time the family name was Vandeberg. They are, in fact, distant relations of powerful German industrialists. That Victor made his own way entirely without support from that side of the family does not mean it’s information he would rather remain buried, or that all of his family are so against reaching out to old contacts in the Reich should it benefit them.
