You almost say that with distain Shurikai. I do like anime but I don't really do much other than write, game and go out for strolls (odd me is odd lol). I tried the anime pilot but I think it's just the general style that isn't my type. I should probably give it another go to be fair. I still need to finish the series Moribito and then watch Sword of a Stranger.

As for books has anyone heard of the painted man?
