I like the one where they have to study the tome, maybe have the tome self-destruct when they managed to cast the spell in it correctly? Just consider it as a mechanic to let the tome 'know' that the one studying it has mastered the spell. 

For some reason I have a feeling that my girl will be the 'brute' while your girl will take the 'brawn' department. Not necessarily mean that my girl can't cast spell or your girl can't swing a sword. Just as the area they mastered most, if you know what I mean. :cool

I like Veronika's objection about having to camp out in the wild, and her comment about a hotel takes the cake. xD I have a feeling that I'm going to see a lot more of Veronika's spoiled side when they have better lights later on? :lol
