Amidst the warm watery depths acting as a womb to the developing creatures, it woke up. Its presence extending itself as it roused and began taking notice of the world around it. Concepts and ideas flowed threw his mind like inklings of a fever dream as he surveyed the world. Barren as it was, he was not alone as in the waters there already a multitude of tiny creatures swimming around, each similar but different in form and function. He viewed his toys with great excitement as they already contained elements which would be built upon which would cut down on work time. Oh yes and what a wonderful thing it would be once his grand series of experiments come into fruition. Already he had selected the amoebas with the crude photosynthetic abilities he'd akin to a sculptor began to carve and sand away at the creatures. 

Halting any further advancement of their organization from getting too complex he'd kept at just general association and began dumping his focus on rapidly developing the chloroplasts and specifically the type of pigmentation contained. Soon he'd unleash his new creations and then refine them even further. He watched with anticipation as how the little base creature soon became something beautiful. The constant growth and changes and increasing efficiency in thriving of the sun's ray was interesting but it was merely the first stepping block for what would be. Still he was impatient and wished the process would go by faster so he could get to the fun part.
