Strange jump isn't it? Well, it's a bit of a long story... Background: First, there was a giant hotel in the middle of a random forest. OK now that I think about it that's not the best intro to give, but that's all I got. 100 miles from any civilization, out of phone service, and concealed by a giant forest. It's purpose? Provide luxury for the supernatural guests with fresh human slaves and food. The kidnapped humans were the main selling point of the establishment, and it brought a large crowd inside. There, the Manager (who was literally named the Manager) was in charge and held an honest business of human entertainment. In the last year though things started to change. Several uprisings occurred, and unlike the last ones supernatural were involved in it. Of course, this was stopped and the guests involved tortured for going against the rules they signed for, but it didn't stop there. When everything looked like it was going well for the hotel, everything perfectly lined up for it to be ruined. After the large catastrophe a large group of humans and supernatural escaped the hotel, finally free from its horrors. Then there was the split up of the group, half going to some complex and the other going to a town that was at the edge of the forest. Not too many good things happened at either place. The complex was a trap right when they followed the man leading them to it. Right when the group was in they were gassed and placed in cages. Going to the town showed the entire place empty with no sign of their disappearance except for the marking CROATOAN on a pole. Later in the year the new residents of the town were taken down one-by-one in a single day by a strange pain in their mind that knocked them unconscious. When they woke up they were the new prisoners of the Complex. Now: Hammond the Trickster, a "loyal" servant of Vladimir, has now just stabbed his boss in the back by creating a time loop and throwing him in it. Now Hammond rules the Complex and has renamed it to Hammond's Complex. Creative right? After having the rest of the town brought in Hammond has a new set of plans of how to live his life. Now the choice is yours. Live under this madman and suffer a long life of unending torture or will you rise up and regain your freedom once more? Or instead will you join Hammond and be set on the time of your life as you crush the ones under you?
General Supernatural knowledge Vampires Strengths: Night vision. Enhanced athletics. Enhanced senses. Feeding of blood from humans enhances powers. A power of your choice. If you can't come up with one ask me for suggestions. Weaknesses: Can go out in the day but get really nasty sunburns. Can be killed by beheading, stab through the heart, and fire. Their blood bubbles when cut by steel but it can't kill them. Feeding off of animals will eventually turn them insane. How to cure vampirism: The one who needs to be cured can only be if they have never drank any blood at all. After that, they need to drink a mixture of a vampire who is over 1000-years old and dead man's blood. The process painfully takes 24 hours. Rand's Notes: Vampires, probably the most common supernatural that this world has. There have always been constant variations on what people thought they were like, then there was the tie in with churches and crosses somehow became a vampire's weakness. I guess they depicted vampires as a spawn of Satin? No idea, I didn't go much into it studying how people were wrong. Anyhow, there's no relation to that whatsoever. Really the only similarity are the fangs and murdering humans. On basic description of vampires, there's not much. It's just the simple two fangs that are the canine teeth that they can switch back and forth at will. Steel seems to be the only way to identify them when they're trying to hide. When they're cut by it, the blood pours out and sizzles like it's being boiled. It's pretty effective, but the problem is that you need to get close and slice them with a knife, which becomes a really awkward situation when you're wrong. Vampires are mostly nocturnal, but there's no harsh effects on them going out in the sun, all they really need is some sunscreen. Getting into a fight with these things are quite nasty, especially if you're alone. For starters, they're stronger in both athletics and senses than the normal human, and they have pretty good nightvision to top it off. Steel is the most effective weapon against them as it is the only element that has a unique effect on them. Don't ask me why, it's some scientific reason, like their body doesn't agree with it like ours does with poisons but on a more radical rate. Beheading them is an effective method to making sure they're dead, but shooting or stabbing them in the heart does the job as well. The problem with the latter is that it sometimes doesn't kill them, so what I recommend is beheading them afterwards. Fire works but is probably the worst method for doing so. They can burn to death but holy crap that takes way too long. I remember pouring gasoline in a room with an unconsciousness vampire then setting it flame since I had no other weapons. I sat outside the room for about three hours when he finally stopped screaming. Lycans Strengths: Can turn into a full wolf at will. Stronger and faster. Greater sight, smell, and hearing. A power of your choice. If you can't come up with one ask me for suggestions. Weaknesses: Silver is poisonous. Can be killed by beheading, stab in the heart, fire, and too much silver interaction. Newly turned can go insane if they are not helped by others when they turn into a wolf. How to cure a Lycan: The one who needs to be cured can only be if they have never drank the blood of humans. If they haven't, they need to drink liquid silver and a mix of a lycan who's over a 1000-years old. Rand's Notes: Lycanthropes, not werewolves, remember that. Lycans can morph at will, werewolves can't and don't have control over their wolf form. It's as simple as that and still some people mix it up. It really bugs me. Anyway Lycans have a relation to werewolves and that's the simple silver. Cut them deep and they'll be crying for hours. Even poking these guys with it makes them visibly poisoned. Having a silver rod or dagger at all times is a pretty safe precaution and good tester against them. Their wolf form can be of various wolves, but so far I haven't seen any that were close to house dogs. The types and colors can vary, but their eye color stays the same. Pretty much the only thing that you can connect. Also wounds, those are the same as well. The weaknesses don't change at all when they change, but their sense to hunt is more driven when their in their wolf form. Killing a werewolf is a bit easier than other supernatural. Of course, they're also slightly tougher than you average vampire so that factor really balances them. Decapitation, fire (seriously don't try fire I already explained why), stab in the heart, and silver will do the job. If you have a silver blade, the most ideal solution is to stab them in the heart. Easiest way to take them down and out for the count. Sirens/Succubi Strengths: Can seduce males. Sirens with their singing voice and succubi with their persuasive powers. Rapid reactions. After a period of time with a male, they can basically brainwash him by kissing him and sharing saliva to make him a fanatic servant. Succubi have powerful regeneration. Sirens can breath underwater indefinitely and have minimal water powers. Weaknesses: All their power is in their voice. Have no real power on females. Any males they brainwash can be freed by the controller dying or the male not having contact with their controller for 24 hours. Succubi can only be killed by decapitation. Sirens through beheading, fire, stab through the heart, starvation. Their blood bubbles when cut by iron but it can't kill them. How to cure a siren/succubus: There is no way to. Rand's Notes: Right. Succubi. I don't like them. Sure they're not as physically strong as their spin-offs like empousai and sirens, but I personally hate them the most. Their reputation is also the best out of the two, being "the devil's whores" or whatever people also name them. Really, that's a lie and they're not demons, but some people still think that. Really, I'm not sure how succubi came into existence, but it was probably like lycans and vamps where there was some genetic difference of the alpha and that alpha made more of her kind. That's all I got for ya on that. Succubi are known for their persuasive powers they have over males. It gets really annoying having to deal with these things, especially when they already have servants ready to give their lives for her. Going solo when you're male like me against a succubus is basically suicide, because you'll be dropping your weapon and roll over like a dog for her. Headphones can somewhat block their voice out, but they can get through that sometimes as well unlike their spin-offs. I'd like to say their most annoying aspect is how hard it is to kill them. Bleeding out, starvation, heart stabbed, fire, drowning (though it will knock them unconscious after a while), suffocation, none of those things works. Sure it hurts them but none of that stuff will kill them, and they're powerful regeneration just makes it go away within a couple hours. The only way I've really discovered so far on the sure way is decapitation. Yep, that's it, and it gets very hard because you can't decapitate something with a gun. You have to get really close and that's how they like it. This is why I just have Sarah do it most of the time for me while I blast Metallica through my headphones outside of the building. Siren origins are varied. The most common form are the ones I call the spin-offs of succubi, but of course there's the ancient "pure" race of them. Those ones are weird and creep me out, but they're extinct so I don't have to worry about them! And if any of them exist I will be angry. Sirens are almost a different matter when it comes to their powers. Sure, they also have persuasive like powers but with them it's in their singing. Cut their singing before they have you within their grasp, and you're fine, half the time. They can really easily start singing again, and then it's back to square one. But cut their voice or blast on your headphones during that time, then you're good. If you don't, same result as becoming a succubi's slave, complete dominance over your mind. Fortunately, their much easier to kill. Stabbing, bleeding out, decapitation, fire, they all work quite well, except obviously you can't drown them. Yeah, putting them in water is the worst idea you can have. Not only can they breath forever in it, but some have water powers and several others can turn their legs into a "mermaid tail". And no, mermaids don't exist, and if you think you've met one, run as soon as she begins singing. Note: None of these species are affected by any religious or "blessed" items, that's just a superstition. To find any custom supernatural traits you'll need to find that person's CS. Demons: Strengths: Have no actual body and is just a thick black smoke. Can possess any unwarded body. Enhanced senses. Incredible stamina and strength inside host. Doesn't feel pain inside host unless by specific weakness. A unique power for each demon. (i.e. Vision, Telekinesis, Invisibility, Pyrokinesis.) Demon possessing someone: Weaknesses: Refined Steel Salt Oil Devil's Trap Can be killed inside host by an oil fire. Can be casted out of host by forced indulgence of a large amount of oil or salt. If forcefully casted out of host, needs time to gain strength to possess another body. Rand's Notes: Demons are not a fun species to mess with, I'll just state that right now. The part I hate most about them is that they have no actual physical body and they just take over someone else's like a parasite. And like a parasite the demon has a chance of escaping when you kill the host, which makes matters worse. The origin of demons is of mixed ideas. From what I've learned, demons are just another species and just got their name for acting like the devil in several cases. Really, they're just another creature that us hunters have the wonderful job to take down, really that simple. What I personally hate about demons the most is how they're all unique. Not in that nice elementary school you-are-all-special different, the in-what-way-can-this-thing-kill-me kind of different. All demons have an individual power kind of like vampires and lycans except in a more scary alternative, and I don't like that very much thank you. The different variety in powers forces me to wait until I discover their power so I can figure out the best way to ensnare them without screwing myself over. Killing a demon isn't fun. While they're not as hard to kill as a succubus the problem is killing them without also killing the host. The preferable method is to first ensnare the target into a devil's trap. It's far more effective than salt because several demons can find a way out of that while Devil's Trap keeps them in a single place and disables their abilities for the time their in it. Problem is getting the demons to walk into the trap in the first place, so preparation is essential when fighting demons. After you've finally gotten them in you're free to do whatever to them, and this is where I usually force feed them salt and drag their smoke hides out of the host. I usually position myself to where the smoke is going and target it head on. The demons without their essential host are virtually powerless. Chucking salt at the smoke works but sometimes doesn't kill it which ruins the whole process. What I've found to be most effective is to literally chop the smoke in half with my steel blade. From what I can tell it's like chopping a body in half. Doing this has proven to be 100% effective and I've never seen it fail as long as I'm accurate. When a demon dies, the smoke drops to the ground and dissipates, leaving only some sulfur behind.

Most hunters are part of a worldwide system. The main use of the system is the rules to abide to and finding connections for weapon dealers, information, jobs, false identities, etc. There are absolutely no supernaturals that are hunters. Magic is used but rarely is, mostly used for incantations and enchantments but several use it as powers. It's frowned upon by many and some hunters have even been executed for going to far in it. Rules of a Hunter: 1. Don't be stupid. 2. Should a hunter become turned, they must be executed immediately to spare them the pain. 3. Protection of civilians is the reason for our existence. 4. If torturing a supernatural is necessary, do it. 5. Never deal with a supernatural unless lives are at stake. 6. All supernatural must meet their end. 7. Never show civilians this world unless absolutely necessary.

Vlad-under the disguise of Daniel-led his group to his very own castle complex! In the courtyard all of his new prisoners were gassed and dragged away from his own work force. He's been at this for centuries but this has been his largest move and especially a dangerous one when he took all the humans and customers away from the Manager. The complex itself is hidden by a powerful smell that makes it unnoticeable by all of the five senses. The only way for anyone to find the complex is for someone on the inside lead another in. After Hammond did away with Vlad he has renamed it to Hammond's Complex. Catchy right?

The town is the nearest point of civilization that was closest to the hotel and on the outskirts of the forest. When Nixon and his group arrived there they literally found no one and all they saw as any evidence was the word CROATOAN scratched on a telephone pole.
`````````````````````````````````````````````````` `````````````````````````````````````````````````` `````````````````````` Rules: 1. No godmodding 2. Keep romance PG-13, if higher go to PM. 3. No auto hits. 4. Announce if you are leaving. I won't come into the night and murder you, I promise. 5. You can die/be turned/become some brainwashed lover of a siren/succubus. 6. Listen to what I say, plus my Co-GMs. 7. Try to be active and do your best to say if you'll be gone for a while. 8. Up to how many characters you can handle. 9. Post at least one line. 10. Time jumps will happen. 11. You can't single-handedly kill Hammond. 12. Don't be overpowered. 13. No arguing and targeting. 14. Read the rules. 15. If you read them, put "EMBRACE SWEET DEATH" in the other in your CS. Co-GMs: Cartwright, Asuna Wolf, and Gonzo. The Rules of the Manager (Not actually important anymore) 1. No supernatural may ever help a human escape the hotel grounds. 2. No one may attempt to kill or remove the Manager. 3. No killing other supernatural unless defending yourself. 4. Humans are of free use, but it is unwise to mess with someone else's humans. 5. A supernatural has permission to leave whenever they want if they have not broken any rules and have not been punished. 6. Enjoy yourself! He has led a good plentiful life and loves it so much that he never wants to retire. He has dealt with assassination, overthrowing, humans escaping, and lots of other things in his years. He thought he was prepared for everything, but everything lined up perfectly to fall apart. All the humans escaped, but the hotel is still in business, just a lot quieter. Power: Basically teleporting 10 feet away from where he was, he calls it "blinking". Has limited uses and wears him down. How you intend to use your humans: Well now he's trying to save a specific one. Relationship: Kate. Bio: Nixon used to work for the Manager until he decided that he wanted to rather enjoy life instead of being a guard for him. He resigned and the Manager didn't take offense. He stayed outside of the hotel but then came back and stayed for a while. While he was residing there, he requested a human. This girl that arrived was named Kate, and she's the one who changed who he was. He turned from some perverted annoying freak, to just an annoying idiot. She was the only one who could ever shut him up, and it seems it will stay like that. She convinced him to try to let her escape, which he complied with. When they got to the forest, they were gassed and brought back. He was led to believe Kate was killed. He later found her and figured out they were lying to him. After Part 2: Nixon had been hiding with Kate in a specific spot inside the fence perimeters. He figured out the only way to get past the fence was to shut off the electronic controls from the inside. He went inside of the hotel with Kate and Chick but they were quickly captured. Chick was skinned alive, Kate was thrown into a human's cell, and Nixon was spared because of Kaori. He ended up outside of the hotel which would've been fine except for the fact that he wasn't with the person he wanted out. Nixon traveled with Kain and met another lycan named Alfons. Alfons told them a location of his cabin of his while he went to the hotel. Nixon and Kain arrived at the cabin, only for Nixon to be knocked out and Kain to be shot by a silver bullet. After Part 3: Nixon returned to the hotel with Kain and the hunters Kay and Perrin. When they were almost there, Nixon split off to look around and ran into Kate who was freed from the hotel. Nixon was leaning towards leaving everyone and getting out of there with Kate, but in the end decided to go back to the hotel. Nixon and Kate went to the feast and Nixon ended up stabbing several guards, freeing Kain, and grabbing Daniel, blinking them to a room where they fought. Nixon was starting to win but in the end, Daniel was able to stab him in the chest. Nixon was taken to medical where Kate waited for him to get up. When he was partially recovered, Nixon blinked them away and ran from the guard Andrew. After finally escaping him, Nixon and Kate ended up alone in the room, where she proceeded to harass him with questions that he had not seen coming and made him very uncomfortable. But, in the middle of their conversation they realized they were in Andrew's room. The two quickly broke out and ran as hard as they could. When Nixon blinked with Kate, they realized it was a trap and ended up in a torture room then moved to room C1 for public torturing. When Kaori plunged the hotel into chaos, Nixon escaped with Kate and led part of the group to the town, where he discovered CROATOAN. Other: Human: Name: Rand Johnson Age: 21 Gender: Male Hunter/Civilian: Hunter Weapons: Crossbow and a hatchet Appearance: Personality: Humorous in dark situations. Relationship: None. Bio: Rand was with the first group of hunters to enter the hotel. He was sedated and given to the siren Kyra as a play toy. He attempted to kill her but she disarmed him before he could. Later, he fell in love with Kyra and stayed with her. After a while, Rand went out to found his fellow hunters. He eventually found Anthony and discovered he was a vampire. To cure Anthony of his vampirism, Rand, Kaori, and Anthony went to the Manager's office. The Manager granted their wish, then immediately gassed them and put them in cages. After spending an entire month in the cell, Rand was put into the maze game. There Sashia tricked him and implanted her influence in his mind to do her bidding. His memory was scrubbed of Kyra, a siren whom he loved. After given the freedom to explore, Rand passed the time with simple things but as time went on he got a clearer mind. After witnessing Anthony's death, Rand stayed with Kaori to figure out her power. When he was close to figuring it out, Sashia regained dominance and sent Rand on a mission for her. But after several hours of even more no contact, Rand hid her influence away and tucked it back. He ran into Chloe and then proceeded to run from a giant snake with her. After chaos erupted, Rand escaped the hotel with Chloe and met up with Perrin to go with Daniel's group. Other: Human: Name: Anthony Cauthon Age: 18 Gender: Male Hunter/Civilian: Hunter Weapons: Rifle and dagger. He was recently given a powerful enchanted sword from Kaori. Appearance: Personality: Cold, direct, sometimes casual. Relationship: Eline. Bio: After entering the hotel, Anthony realized how much his fellow hunters changed. It was the fault of two that led him to being captured. He was used as a playtoy by the hunter Luka and her girlfriend succubus Sashia. After they had their fun, Anthony was sent to someone who was half siren and half vampire. To save Anthony from becoming a mindless slave to her sister, the half siren turned Anthony into a vampire. After meeting Kain, Anthony was set on freeing the humans and supernatural from the Manager's imprisonment. He met Kaori and was trying to figure out where everyone else was when he bumped into Rand. Rand took him to the Manager's office to cure his vampirism. Anthony was cured, then all three of them were gassed. After living in the cold room for a month Anthony was finally released and put in the maze game. After that, he was gassed and brought to the reverse-vampire Alexis. Her goal with him was simple, break him to the point where she could easily rebuild him to her desires. Alexis came close to that point, but Anthony was able to escape before she could. He met back up with Daniel and Kaori again but was almost immediately gassed and brought back to Alexis. This time he woke up in a torture chamber with her and her friend Eline. After torturing him for a long time, Alexis decided she wanted him to be obedient and had Eline poison him to affect his mind. After having some fun with Anthony in Eline's room, Alexis was suddenly taken away by the hotel staff. Eline was then alone with Anthony, but after a long time grew rather fond of him. She released him from her influential poison and explained to him why. Anthony was unsure but in the end left with a promise to come back. He eventually found Daniel and Kaori, but the reunion was cut after a guard shoot him through the heart and Daniel drained his dying body. After everything went to chaos, Kaori used her strange powers and accidentally brought Anthony back to life. He realized the situation and kept his promise, escaping the hotel with Eline, following behind Nixon's group. Relationship: None. Bio: After an entire month of uselessly torturing Kain and Nixon just to realize they were on his side, Perrin journeyed with them to the hotel. There he was captured and enslaved by Zhalia the siren. After multiple suicide attempts and having others try to kill him, Zhalia finally decided that she would kill him herself for his misbehavior. But before the night she planned to, the hotel went into chaos and Perrin escaped, following Daniel's group. After trying to kill Vlad when he realized it was a trap, Perrin was shot and sent down by the gas. Now after a year in this place, Perrin has been driven far past the point of insanity.
