Donovan enjoyed watching crowds of people move around and go on with whatever they were doing, it sort of fascinated him in a way and he did plenty of it back home where there was little else to do. Some of the best friends he had made caught his eye among the multitude of other people who surrounded them they were a bit different from the rest like him, none were as different as him though, but nonetheless they stood out in actions or just presence. He would miss all of them to one extent or another however there was always doubt as to what they would be like knowing the actual him not just being human but more than human. It tipped a small frown onto his face for a moment which made him want to move on and keep certain thoughts in the back of his mind. Donovan walked around towards the front of the gym again passing two girls, one significantly shorter than the other, he kept going not wanting to break up a conversation that seemed to be going slowly. "Must be here for a reason so no shame in that" He thought calmly as he moved to his desired location were the most people were coming and going because of the club displays. His eyes slowly scanned the other students as they moved about while he kept his head down slightly which paired with his sunglasses would make it difficult to tell he was staring out with genuine interest. It took a bit of time for him to pick up on it but he could've sworn he was seeing his own shadow shifting through the crowd except the hair flowing out of the hood and figure of the girl was only a bit different from how he looked in his own hoodie. Seeing her go towards the club stands he did his best to keep pace from a little ways away keeping his head down to prevent him being noticed. Donovan kept his gaze focused while he slipped in through the crowd and doors seeing where the girl was looking towards the video game club, but moving off shortly after. "Too nervous to go straight up there..." He thought keeping it in mind because it would change his method of approach. It took a minute or two to close the distance between the two but he could wait until she stopped moving for just a moment to look at a display. His patience was rewarded and he stood ahead of where she stopped but to the left, he removed his glasses for the moment given his intention, and looked to where she was at the same time. He looked for a moment intently as if he were perfectly interested in the display, not that he wasn't but it had to be a bit convincing, then he looked back slightly as if just noticing the girl for the first time since entering. He walked over casually as to not bring any other attention to either of them and stood next to her as opposed to trying to force eye contact. "See anything interesting?" He asked with curiosity seeing if he could get a conversation going or just a few words.
